And just when you're questioning every life choice that brought you to this moment, there's Siobhan, cheerfully declaring, "Happy days!" Happy for who, Siobhan. Happy for WHO?! 😂This community has completely changed how I see fitness. It's no longer about a number on the scale, although the results have been welcome, but about strength, confidence, showing up for myself and appreciating what my body is capable of.I genuinely wouldn't have achieved what I have without Kate, Siobhan and the amazing women who make this community what it is. Their encouragement, wisdom and support have meant more than they'll probably ever realise.Kate, you've created something truly special. I'm a 52-year-old gym virgin who didn't know a dumbbell from a barbell. After having my baby, I wanted a coach who genuinely specialised in training women, particularly mums, and that’s when I found Kate.I’ve now been training with her for a few years. I initially trained to regain my fitness, then fell pregnant again and continued training safely throughout my pregnancy.Kate brings a wealth of knowledge and is genuinely a mum safe coach. She doesn’t just focus on fitness either. She takes a holistic approach and, if she notices something that could benefit you, she’ll speak up and recommend trusted female health professionals who can provide additional support.As a mum of four running a business, I’m usually looking after everyone else, though Kate always makes sure I take the time to look after myself too.Having a babysitter onsite is such an incredible touch, giving mums the opportunity to focus completely on themselves. 8 weeks ago I started training again thanks to the excellent marketing by Empower360 Fitness but it was the founder Kate Hickey that convinced me to start.I had months of excuses but she gently prompted me again and again with actual care. I didnt feel like a ‘sale’ but a new friend.What I found there was:- A bunch or midlife mums looking normal, approachable and friendly - not a made-up Lorna jane coffee crowd.- Trainers with heart that care and remember things you told then- not instagram fitness goddesses. They’re tough but i want progress so im happy.- Variety - you never know what you’re going to do until you turn up which means i can’t make excuses about them not having a class I want.- strength - I’m lifting heavy weights like doing 40kg deadlifts and building my strength and since osteo is a thing in my family, I’m building my bone density.- perspective about myself - since I’m going to five 6am classes a week i feel like my days are starting well which makes me feel strong and motivated.- flexibility - I procrastinated because i have a frozen shoulder but in 8 weeks i can now move so much more freely. My big goal is to have great arms.- less muffin top - the weigh in is on sunday and I’m sure the scales won’t move much but my pants are loose and my thighs arent touching so thats a big win.They have outdoor classes and indoor too.Just putting it out there in case anyone needs a push.

Where do I start? Not only Kate and Julie helped me getting on track of my fitness goals, but they showed me compassion, kindness and understanding of how a woman’s body works and function throughout the month. I was never a workout person but the coaches truly turned this narrative around and I now look forward my “me time” sessions in the morning. E360 is a fantastic community of women from all personal and fitness paths and I’m so happy I started my journey with them. As a single Mum I can safely say that becoming a member of Empower360 was one of the best choices I made as a new Mum. Not only are the trainers wonderful the holistic approach and educate you on how post partum exercise and doing the right things is critical, it also has seen me benefit in many areas, not only my physical fitness. It's not just a fitness business it's a community of caring and loving women. Kate and the other trainers are wonderful and have such a passion for empowering women and teens and takes an invested interest in each individual. The results I've achieved have been phenomenal and unlike other gyms I've been a part of I've had consistent training since having my son with no injury due to the care taken with the trainers in making sure you are exercising correctly and being kind to your body after going through what is one of the most intense things a woman can go through....child birth.
