I hired National Dusters to clean a dirty, stained shower floor. I took several photographs of the shower and work required and sent them to their scheduler/booker, who was very nice and communicative. I was quoted 1–1.5 hours for the work, which I was happy to pay (despite knowing it would likely take about a half hour to clean the shower floor, which I’ve done before). Before the date of the appointment, I added on vacuuming all carpets and cleaning a staircase wall of scuffmarks to the job.The work was rescheduled on the end of the cleaners once, and then the actual cleaning crew showed up 3 hours after the provided appointment time. The scheduler/booker was again very nice and apologetic for the scheduling error, and I was still very optimistic.Once I was told the work was complete, I went back to the house and saw that only half the home was vacuumed and the primary reason for the work—the shower floor—was barely attempted. I then went and picked up a vacuum and some natural, green Melaleuca tile cleaner. Back at the house, I scrubbed the shower floor with the cleaner and a scrub brush for about 20 minutes. Effort was all it took. Photos are included of the before and after as example of what was accomplished.Once I did my own cleaning, I sent the photos and a description of what happened (along with my displeasure at the service completed) to the scheduler/booker. I was told I’d be contacted by Mark (the owner). Two days past without a call. Mark texted that he would call me the next morning. He didn’t. I got a voicemail from Nuvia, who I called back to discuss the issue. Nuvia was absolutely delightful and understanding. She said she would be speaking with Mark about issuing as close to a full refund as possible.I got a 30% refund for a service that was 90% not completed. I asked the scheduler/booker to have Mark or Nuvia call me the next morning. Nobody called. I then followed back up myself and spoke with Nuvia again, who said that Mark would not allow any larger refund. So, I spoke with Mark, who questioned my honesty claiming that “there’s no way the cleaners did nothing while they were there.” After explaining to him what the results of the cleaning appointment looked like, Mark said that his company doesn’t clean tile and grout, and they should have never accepted the job. Well, they did, and nobody once told me it wasn’t a service they provided. I sent several photos and explicit details about the work required.I honestly just wanted to talk to Mark and ask if thought 30% was a fair refund, but he was immediately so defensive and unpleasant that the conversation tanked quickly. Mark said he would call the cleaner to get her story and then call me back in a couple minutes. That was 19 hours ago. I’m no longer interested in pursuing a refund. I’m no longer interested in speaking with Mark. His rudeness and apathy at whether paid work was completed spoke volumes.For customers looking for cleaning services, I cannot recommend against Mark’s company enough. The work I paid for wasn’t done, and Mark was dismissive of that fact and of me. For cleaning companies looking for employees that provide great customer service, I’d recommend you hire Jessica and Nuvia at National Dusters of the Twin Cities—they deserve better than being thrown under the bus by their boss. They did not do all of the windows and completely left out deep cleaning around the 2 sliding glass doors. All in all we had to finish the cleaning on our own after they got their payment from us. National Dusters came back out, and revealed the extensive damage using a black light, and were able to restore the carpets without my having to replace all the carpeting in the home, AND they took care of the issue with minimal expense. Got a good deal on Groupon. The total cost was about $110 for up too 2500 sqare feet, which was much more than enough.

Our employees claim to know nothing of them being caught "gawking" this one cleaner... We believe they used this as an excuse to get out of our contract.. This is a review about customer service. I called to schedule appointments for 4 Groupons I had purchased for my friends and self and the man who answered the phone started saying that it did not matter if I purchased the coupons for myself and others-it is only 1 coupon purchased per household. I had tried to schedule at least 1 of the 4 and not have to deal with a total loss and then when I asked to speak to his manager or owner he called me the B word under his breath but audible and then said they would not honor any of my coupons -any of them. When I said I needed more of an explanation regarding their Groupons he tried to tell me what his owner would tell me; that I am "out of luck. I said I only wanted to talk to someone of more authority to see if we could work to make things right. Then he hung up on me. I was firm, calm and respectful to him the entire call and simply wanted to talk to his boss regardless of if I was right or wrong. Now I am stuck on on the phone with Groupon for hours (they would only refund 1 of 4 Groupon's). This franchisee does not seem to have an consistent and ethical that reflects a practice of valuing their customers. Particularly If they let receptionists be the gate keeper and speak for them. I am a successful entrepreneur myself and i know that small businesses need to work with their customers individually at times and offer transparency so things can be resolved. SIDE NOTE: Groupon will not refund your money on purchases you buy more than 3 business days- no matter what the situation. You need to go back to your credit card company and complain. Less

Had them for residential carpet cleaning today, 4/4/16. Gumaro, the cleaner, arrived an hour ahead. I showed him the two rooms and the badly stained areas. He treated them with a chemical spray. He had the two rooms and 11 steps and 1 landing cleaned in less than an hour. The cost was $108 plus tax. The bad spots were mostly gone... I had had AAA Chem-Dry not return my calls and basically not sh... More
