If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I would! My son has level 1 autism and has always had a meltdown everytime he’s had his haircut. This time he sat so well and was so calm! Kai was so amazing with him and patient and considerate of his sensory needs!

My toddler couldn’t have had a more fun time at this Sharkey’s for her first official haircut. She got a balloon, lollipop, ring, certificate with her picture & lock of hair, butterfly hair clips, & a little manicure! The owner was there & even let her take a toy home. Our stylist, Jennifer, was so kind & good with my little one. Isabel (or Izzy) helped with painting her nails & was also patient & nice. Thank you, Sharkey’s!! Telling all my friends about yall.

We’ve been bringing our kids to Sharkey’s for over three years, and it’s one of the few places we never think twice about returning to. They recently made some great upgrades to the salon, and it looks fantastic!What really sets Sharkey’s apart is the staff. Every stylist we’ve had has been so patient, kind, and wonderful with children. At our most recent visit, both of our kids had extremely tangled hair from spending so much time in the pool. The stylists took their time, made sure the kids were comfortable, and handled everything with such care and patience.The salon is so kid-friendly….our kids love getting to watch TV or play video games while sitting in the fun cars and trucks. It turns haircuts into something they actually look forward to.As parents, we also appreciate how organized and efficient they are. We’re consistently called back right at our appointment time, and the stylists truly know how to work with children.We also love their products and regularly purchase the shampoo, conditioner, and detangler because they’ve worked so well for our kids’ hair.After three years of consistently great experiences, we can confidently say Sharkey’s is the best place for kids’ haircuts. Highly recommend!

Took my 6 year old autistic grandson to get a much needed cut. Chloe was so very understanding and super patient with him during the cut! Definitely recommend this salon for your littles!

I brought my 2.5yr old son yesterday morning and admittedly was anxious because my son usually gets very upset during his haircuts. We had Chloe as our stylist and she was so wonderful and patient and made my son feel so relaxed that the entire experience was completely the opposite of what I anticipated. We will always come back to Sharkeys to see Chloe!

We take out two boys to Sharkey’s and see Jennifer. When we first started coming to Sharkey’s my son was really scared and frankly must have been a difficult child to provide a haircut. But Jennifer has always been so patient and kind. Now he and his brother look forward to getting their haircut. Jennifer is still patient and kind - but also knows us and remembers us every time. Can’t say enough ‘thank yous’ to her! It’s a delight to go every few weeks.

My daughter and I brought my 2.5yo grandson in, and normally, he gets upset when his hair is being cut. Not this time, and it was definitely due to Chloe's wonderful and calm demeanor. She did such an amazing job, we can't get over it. Chloe knows exactly how to NOT make a small child anxious and we couldn't be more grateful for her expertise.
