I dealt with so many realtors over the past few years. Steven was absolutely the best one. Not only did he do better, he made them all look silly. Steven was on top of everything. As with any great experience, there is something that could have been better. In this case, only the fee for having a buyers agent was a negative. Everything else went great! Steven Vertz is the most personable real estate agent I have had the pleasure to work with. My wife and were looking to purchase a home in Wisconsin after living in Indiana for more than 30 years. He contacted me within minutes of requesting help with an agent on Realtor.com. It wasn't just a canned email that other realtors would sent out. He actually called me personally and I knew right away that Steven was the person I wanted to help me find my Wisconsin home.Steven is so well organized and made available to us recommended Mortgage companies and reputable inspection companies. When I made inquiries, it was great knowing that there was a relationship that Steven had made with these people, making is so easy to set up appointments and making us feel like we were working with one entity with Steven being the main contact. After acquiring a preapproval from a recommended mortgage company, Steven was ready to help us look for our home.The timing of our home search did not come at the best time as many of the homes that we were interested we receiving up to 20 bids and selling for more than the list price. We had not experienced this in previous home buying experiences years ago and my wife and I felt really frustrated and confused in this type of market. Steven was so patient with us and was really helpful in explaining how this type of market worked.The homes sent to our personal portal were exactly what we were looking for and made it easy to sort them into homes that we definitely would like, possibly would like, or didn't care for.Now the difficult part was figuring out how we would look at these homes in Wisconsin, while living in Indiana. Steven had the perfect solution.He would personally go to the houses we wanted to see more of and tour the house with a 3D camera. This camera allowed us to virtually move all around each room. We could pause in a room, spin 360 degrees and zoom in on anything we could see. He actually gives a tour of the house and checks many things an ordinary realtor would not. He checks many of the outlets in all rooms of the house to see if they are wired and grounded correctly with tester. He checks for leaks under sinks and gives detailed descriptions of conditions of the house that may not be obvious on camera. I love his recommendations about things that would need improved and he is very knowledgeable about many different topics such as landscaping improvements needed to keep water from intruding into a basement and various interior improvements that may eventually be needed. His camera technique is really something that separates him from other realtors.Steven is great at communicating with a buyer and I really feel like we really developed a great rapport with him, even though we had not even met face to face yet. He really went above and beyond for us and made our home buying experience super enjoyable.We will be looking to move again in a couple of years and we will definitely be contacting Steven and Wizards of Real Estate to help us find our forever home.
