"Don't let the salon name or interior fool you—this salon offers outstanding haircuts for adults!I made an appointment for Saturday, Sept. 19th and was already the third woman in the chair by 12:30 PM. Sharkey's has incredible talent, and I am thrilled to find this gem in Midland Park at a very reasonable price.Laura, an experienced and skilled stylist, fixed my recent cut that was riddled with mistakes. She takes her time and really reads her clients. She knew exactly what style I was aiming for and I left her chair feeling so happy. She is a master at what she does. I am so grateful to have the talented Laura cut my hair.Meeting her and her friendly colleagues today proved to me this is a salon I will continue to visit.

Went there last weekend, Laura squeezed us in for first day of school haircuts and I couldn’t have been more grateful! My daughter even had a minute for a mani, and asked if we could go back the next day. Thank you so much for accommodating us and making sure the kids were photo ready for Pre-K and first grade! You truly went out of your way to give these kiddos the royal treatment!

Took my 3 year old son for a haircut here and it took less than 15 minutes and is one of the best haircuts he has ever gotten. It’s absolutely amazing and we will be back monthly for his cuts from here on out.

Laura was awesome. My 3yo son isn't always the best about getting his hair cut but Laura was super easy going and patient. He is already asking when he can go back again

Definitely our favorite kids friendly spot in the area. My boys look forward to haircuts because of them. The staff is great and thorough. Clean salon with TVs at every stall, along with kid themed cars seats and regular seats as well. Just make sure you arrive a few minutes early since they schedule very tightly. But if you’re looking for a spot for your kids in the area, you really can’t beat them. Highly recommend.

Got my son's first haircut done for his 1st birthday with David. David did a amazing job & was super patient with my son. My son did cry at the beginning & kept trying to move but David worked his magic & got my son to calm down by playing his favorite show & talking to him! I loveee how his haircut turned out, we were literally in & out it was super quick!

My son loves Sharkeys! I can’t say enough great things. He gets to play video games while he gets a haircut and the haircut is always on point. David gave my son an lightening bolt design and he loves it! He always leaves looking so sharp.

This is my second time bringing my son to Laura and she does an excellent job on the cut but even more than that she truly strives to give a great experience— my son does not love getting his hair cut (or sitting still for that matter!) and she was so gentle and patient making sure we only kept him in the chair as long as necessary and let him sit on my lap for the second half to calm down a bit. Somehow despite him having a rough day he ended up with a great haircut! We will definitely keep coming back!

My son has only ever gotten his hair cut here (he is 2) he has had 4 hair cuts total and all have been fantastic!! Sarah and Laura were both so patient with him and the cuts look great!
