So glad I found this place. I didn’t come in for any service other than to just get a piece of jewelry removed from a helix piercing that wasn’t healing properly (this studio did not do the piercing). The shops piercer wasn’t actually scheduled for today but I told whoever answered the phone my situation and they asked her to come in and she did. I met the owner as we were waiting for the piercer to arrive and he was great. Super warm and easy to talk to. Their piercer was also amazing. She was able to remove the jewelry and was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. She literally only came in to help me as she left the shop when I did. Yesterday was my first time ever at this studio, and I worked with Mark. I told Mark that I had previous tattoos for each of my nephews, and had another nephew that needed to be added. This particular nephew is the utmost wild child our family could’ve gotten. He’s loud, funny, rambunctious, fearless and just a true boy’s boy through and through. I decided for his piece that I wanted that old school monkey toy with the cymbals. That concept truly embodies my nephew’s wild personality. I also told Mark that my nephew was born with auditory deficiencies, has worn hearing aids since just a few months old, and I really wanted that incorporated into the piece as well. Mark did NOT DISAPPOINT! I sincerely could not be happier with his creativity and the final product of this piece. Mark did amazing and I had zero patience in showing my family! The artists here have a gift for turning your half-baked ideas into masterpieces that'll make your grandma question her will. Sure, sitting still for hours hurts, but their jokes hurt more. Pro tip: don't ask for a tattoo of your ex unless you want it to look suspiciously like a bridge troll. Place is cleaner than my browser history after a visit from tech support. Chandler was dope, 10+ years of tattooing shows. He did a number of pieces in different areas and did one behind my ear which he said he’d never done. He worked with me when I came from out of town and another artist was overcharging me and not communicating. It was relieving to have the multiple pieces I wanted done, taken care of. I’d say know what you want before going in and do a consultation if your tattoo is going to take some time designing. Unfortunately, I went out for one piece and we didn’t get to because of the planning time it needed… but he did 13 other pieces-several on my wrist, my dad’s handwriting, a side piece, behind the ear, arm pieces, and a freehanded butterfly that will be on me forever so I’m grateful for what we accomplished in such a short amount of time. I’d recommend this shop but definitely know what you’re getting and obviously listen to the experts. And if you get lost on your way, they’re great at communicating until you show.
