Words cannot express how happy I am with Johnathan’s training. My dog Tina completed the three-week board and train program, and she truly came back a different dog.Tina has always been very high-energy and anxious, but Johnathan managed to help her find calm and balance. When she returned home, she was noticeably more relaxed, focused, and obedient.It’s clear how much care, patience, and knowledge Johnathan puts into his work. I’m incredibly grateful for the transformation I’ve seen in Tina and would highly recommend his training to anyone looking to help their dog feel more confident and at peace.

I cannot say enough great things about Jonathan and the incredible work he has done with my dog, Jada — and with me as an owner.Jada is an 18-month-old German Shepherd who became reactive to other dogs shortly after I brought her home at five months old. I tried working with her on my own, but eventually I found myself avoiding places where dogs might be present because I didn’t know how to handle her reactivity and didn’t want to cause a scene. I dreamed of having a dog I could confidently take to events, and my ultimate goal is for Jada to become a certified therapy dog.I knew I couldn’t get there on my own, so I reached out to Jonathan — and that decision changed everything.Jada attended training with Jonathan every Monday, and at the end of each day he took the time to thoroughly explain what she had learned so I could continue reinforcing it throughout the week. We are extremely happy with Rocco’s trainer. Thanks to his training, Rocco knows so many commands and responds incredibly well. The progress we’ve seen is impressive, and it truly shows the trainer’s knowledge, patience, and dedication. Highly recommended.

John is amazing and trained my pitbull Nitro. Nitro was a rescue puppy at 3 months from Tennessee and I'm a first time pitbull owner. I was nervous because of the stereotype so I definitely wanted him in training since I have a 12 year old daughter at the time.John made us feel very comfortable and Nitro took to him day one. Nitro knows how to sit, come,lay and heel on command. He has his moments he needs to be reminded but thats because I spoiled him and don't work with him everyday.I trusted John so much with Nitro he has been our dog boarding place when I go out of town. I kinda like it because I know he works with him consistently those days he is there as well. He gets 5 plus plus stars from Nitro and I.This pic I posted is Nitro looking at John he is all smiles.

Having worked with Jonathan in the past for dog training (Catahoula/Plott Hound Mix pictured below) we came back for more training when a family member needed to move in and her stubborn 6 year old Australian Sheppard was causing issues at the house. Before training Niko was unable to be within line of sight of another dog without going crazy and trying to hump them. He got into a fight with my Pitt and that was the final straw. I sent Niko through the board and train program and happy to report, he's a changed dog. There was no way my Pitt would have felt comfortable sleeping around him before the training and now look at them. Just chill as can be. No more barking on walks, no more humping aggression towards my son, separation anxiety reduced, all around a life saver. You're given the resources and tips to be able to curb behaviors as they pop up and help fix pre existing issues. Now if Niko starts looking like he wants to hump, a simple recall and no humping occurs! Thank you Jonathan, cant praise you enough.

I can’t thank Jonathan and First Class K9 Academy enough. My 5 month old Doberman was so strong and boisterous that my wife couldn’t walk him. We sent him to Jonathan for his board and train program. Weeks later we were given an obedient little gentleman that we could take anywhere. Absolutely life changing. People are always amazed at my dogs behavior around people and other dogs. We also use Jonathan for boarding when going on vacation as he is the only person we feel safe with leaving him. Please don’t get a dog like a Doberman without factoring the cost of training. It’s a must for these dogs and Jonathan really knows what he’s doing.
