Updating - I'd give this place more than 5 stars if I could! Teachers are absolutely exceptional. My kid, who has been in class for about 2 months already is showing better focus and attention - AND she loves it!!!Update... I started after my daughter did. I love it. It's the good kind of hard and full of great people.Another update after being prompted by Google. Almost 2 years in and I love it more than ever. All of the instructors and staff are amazing. The people that attend the classes are also pretty great. Just love this place!

LOVE GREAT WAY!Kids are now in year 2 at Greatway Martial Arts, and I couldn't be happier with the positive impact it's had on them. The instructors are great, incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely enthusiastic about teaching. They have a way of encouraging the kids to push themselves while also making the classes fun and engaging.I've seen a difference in both kids' strength, coordination, and confidence. They come home with "Quest cards" and compete over who will get to do the chores to check off on their cards - it's awesome.They look forward to every class and are learning valuable life skills like discipline and respect in a supportive environment with great balance.They've also attended the Greatway Martial Arts summer camps, and they absolutely loved them (it's how we were exposed to GW). Following that first camp, they begged to join and learn Kung Fu and have been dutifully and excitedly attending two classes per week since.If you're looking for a martial arts program in Kelowna that is not only effective in teaching martial arts but also fosters a positive and supportive community for both kids and adults, look no further than Greatway Martial Arts. I highly recommend them!

Everyone here is really kind and helpful. They try to make sure the workout and training is effective even for people who have physical limitations. I have a bad knee because of an old injury and Tom and Jesse have been really kind in making sure I don’t re-injure myself and suggesting modifications so I can stay with the class.

Our whole Kelowna family (5 adults) does Wing Chun here. All of the instructors are incredibly patient and kind, and we are all progressing at our own pace. My personal bonus is that the stretching and controlled movements are helping to keep my body limber, so I feel like I’m aging backwards!
