⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars Had an awesome morning fishing with Captain Micah! Our family had a great time from start to finish. We caught four or five different species and had another couple that we were targeting or hooked into but just didn’t quite make it aboard. Captain Micah worked hard the entire trip, moving us around and putting us on different spots to keep the action going. We had fish popping out of the water, pelicans following us around, and even had a brown booby decide to land on the boat and hang out with us for a while! Probably one of the funniest moments was when one of us nearly went overboard with the fishing rod—whatever was on the other end apparently had other plans! 😂🎣 More than anything, this was exactly what I wanted: a fun day on the water with my family and memories we’ll be talking about for a long time. Captain Micah was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and made sure everyone had a good time. We’re already talking about coming back next year and booking another trip with him. Big thank you to these amazing guides who didn’t even flinch when I said I wanted to catch a shark. First cast out, and boom—a 10ft tiger shark! Took four of us and two hours to bring her in, but we did it. Grateful, exhausted, and still ecstatic! Book them, you will not be disappointed!

We had a great time today with Ronnie and Micah. We were fishing with our two boys ages, 10 and 14. We went out on the big boat for five hours and fished at a couple of shipwrecks and caught all kinds of things. I’ll probably get the names wrong, but we caught Red Rubys, Vermillion snapper, mangrove snapper, Spanish mackerel, barracuda, and a tripple tail. We also saw a leatherback turtle, but we weren’t super close to it (and we didn’t get closer, He seemed to have somewhere to go). That was awesome!

He was very patient and kind with our boys, ages 7 and 11, and they are still talking about how this was their best fishing trip ever! Scheduling was easy and they are very responsive. Just completed a 4 hour trip with Captain Patrick. We caught Vermillion snapper, mangrove snapper, scamp, and mackerel. He helped my 8 year old learn the proper technique to reel in the big fish. Definitely recommend.

Capt Ronnie nailed it! I took two teenagers and a seven year old and we limited out on red snapper and got into some nice King Mackerel. Ronnie got us on fish, made the day fun and hooked up an eight foot bull shark.We have been fishing the panhandle for 15 years and this was the best private charter we have ever had!

We book with Rooster Tail Charters every year. Captain Pat always puts us on the snapper. They keep the boat clean in between stops and always have a good playlist going too! There's many knowledgeable guides in this area but we have been fishing with these guys for years and they never disappoint.
