I went to Best Buy computer center to fix my computer. The man at Best Buy informed me its broken, nothing they can do with it! I was so afraid, due to my information I needed from rhe computer.I called a friend I used to work with if he could help me. He lives in Tennessee, I'm in Illinois! I panicked! My friend suggested I go to Revival Text Solutions.I went there, the gentleman Scott Lantow, informed me he can fix it! I was excited. Three days later, he informed me to pick up my computer! Welp. It took a couple of months BUT…Scott is a true professional computer nerd. Did actual motherboard microsurgery on my MacBook Pro.Also, recovered all my precious baby pictures, wedding, etc. Ya know, things you would go back into your burning house to save. The pics where on an old external hard drive from the 2000’s that had spent cold winters and hot summers in a storage garage. So yeah. Go here.

I'll start by saying Scott is a great it tech and a genuinely nice person. I went for an hdmi repair on an Xbox. I am a traveling tech and I had to leave rockford by Sunday and took the device in Wednesday. I explained I'd be going to decatur and could he get it done by then. He said he'd see. It wasn't done till Monday so I had to drive 3 hours to the place on Saturday as I told him I would and tried to contact him through multiple channels only to get an Ai call bot and no response for 2 hours until I found a completely different number that worked. I do not believe this to be an experience worth the 220 I spent for said repair. If you want to get work done just know it will take longer then industry standard and communication will be poor. I always try to support local but feel this would have been better handled by a corporate company.

I don't know what is going on. 2 months ago I dropped off my PS5 to be repaired, and he says 2 weeks or so. It's 2 months later and I have not heard from him. I've called a few times and he promises to get to it, and he hasn't reached out once. He took $50 from me already, and I have seen zero return on that $50.

Horrible experience trying to repair an iPad. Been 5 months and no response on status updates via phone or text. I go in person and he promises will be done soon. Unfortunate that others are getting better service.
