Mark from Magnificent Mindset is amazing. I met the other “partner in crime”, Monica about a year ago at a business networking event. I explained my battles with depression, anxiety and my suicidal thoughts and attempts but felt that, as a male, it’s difficult to come out and ask for help. Once she told me how the business model works, I was interested in meeting her husband and through their own experiences, I was inspired to give it a go. I have been battling these horrible conditions for many years… I currently see a psychologist and while my mental health had improved, I felt that the anxiety attacks were still regularly occurring and I was plateauing. Mark helped me break the cycle. Mark challenged me to look at myself in the eye….and embrace all of me. It wasn’t easy to be perfectly honest….and even though I came from a sales background, I struggled with public speaking. After going through the program twice, it’s what i needed. For years, I have been stuck in two areas of my life, namely setting up a busi-ness (ETSY shop) and managing my ever increasing weight. I reached a point where I knew, that I just couldn’t do it on my own. During a google search, I was really thrilled to find Monica and Mark in my own home town of Adelaide. A number of times I said to Monica, that I couldn’t imagine what we would talk about for twelve weeks, but of course, 12 weeks turned out to be barely enough! At about the 5 week mark, I was ready to throw in the towel, but Monica and I talked through things and we continued through to the end of the 3 month programme. I need to say to anyone contemplating doing this coaching, that it is well worth it, you get insights into your own thinking that you wouldn’t otherwise get. You also need to be aware, that part of this pro-cess is that you will be pushed outside of your comfort zone, and you have to know that going in, and you have to be willing to push through. Just remem-ber that old saying .. ‘Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.' (as per Albert Einstein). The zoom calls are as good as face-to-face, so don’t let the fact that it’s physically not in person, put you off, you do feel like you’re in the room together. It's a transformational process, that won’t be completed by the end of 12 weeks which is what I thought it would be, but I came to understand that it’s a gradual process and you have to be prepared to continue to work on yourself after the program, continue learning, continue to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. I learnt things about myself, about life, about other people and made connec-tions with other organisations and people that I would otherwise not have made. So I do recommend Monica to you as your guide and mentor for the things that you want to transform in your life.
