They also gave me lots of information on the makeup of my score and the degree to which each component effects the score. I could not give them the other 2 stars bc communication was subpar to say the least. I'm not sure if this was the fault of the whole team or just my case worker. There were several occasions where my case worker would email me and at the end of the email she would say "email me if you have any questions or concerns" to which I emailed back my question/concerns and would not get a reply. I even called right after getting her email and no one answered nor returned my call. When I was able to speak to her and asked a question she could not answer she often told me she would "check on that & call me in the morning", of course no call came the following morning and I found myself checking in with her to see if she found out the answers. I wanted to be more informed on what was going on and the step by step process, I was told I would be in "good shape" to buy a home in 2-months and that it wouldn't take much to clear everything up yet, here we are about 4 months later and, yes there has been improvement but not close to what I felt I was promised. Now like I said...John and Rachel were great, I have seen some improvement, and have some things I know I need to personally work on, so my complaint is not really about that. I unfortunately had a 3-star experience from this company due to poor communication and lack of follow up. I work in a office environment myself and understand having many accounts to follow up on, but I also know that with organization & proper processes in place that "following up" should be a piece of cake. Emails went unanswered after several attempts and when called to follow up with it, seemed as if I was a burden. Initial start up is $299 Which what I know now, is overkill. After that $129 a month. Now, they wait till the last minute to send letters, then it's 45 days. Once the letters come back they determine what was removed and what wasn't. What wasn't removed they take the easy way and offer to settle. But, they tell you they send another letter to dispute what wasn't removed with the intial letter. Before anything is removed you're paying $430 bucks.Get credit Karma dispute everything. That's what they do. Whatever doesn't get removed dig deeper, and dispute again. Then Settle. Don't waste your money. Service is horrible. Stay away.Response to Owner - His response is frivolous and his business tactics are embarrassing. Less
