First-time client here after seeing great reviews, but unfortunately I won’t be returning. I requested builder gel (and had texted ahead since it wasn’t listed online), but ended up getting hard gel instead. Communication with my nail tech, Tram, was minimal—she didn’t explain what she was doing or check in during the process.After removing my previous set, she applied hard gel, but the nails came out flat, uneven, and without an apex. I had to stop her and ask for corrections, and even then I had to keep checking them myself. The shapes didn’t match, and there was little attention to detail. I also had to request cuticle cleanup, which was an extra charge.Overall, the appointment took 2.5 hours and the experience didn’t meet expectations.

It was my first time visiting this salon. I have been to many others and they never gave me what I wanted. So, I've had to keep searching. My tech was Riya and she gave me everything I wanted. I am so extremely happy with how I was treated from start to finish. I will definitely be returning and referring them to everyone. The salon was clean and everyone there seemed so friendly with everyone. I was truly impressed. And the price was very reasonable. You have gained another customer.

Beauty Bar SGV provided a solid same-day deluxe pedicure with gel polish and a regular manicure for my natural nails. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing, without endless chatting. The chrom add-on for the French pedicure at $25 felt steep, so I skipped it. Overall good service, would consider returning.
