We had our deck built by Hemma Decks/GS Decks last year and I have to say it is the best experience we have had with a contractor. We had hired a different company that did not come through with the project so we were at a loss; but then Matt came back to give us an estimate and saved the day. He is very knowledgeable and his communication and attention to detail are reassuring.He was able to work with our budget and wish list and got us on the schedule to be done with the project by the time our family was coming from out of town to visit.They took care of all the permits and documentation with the city and the HOA... we did not have to worry about a thing.George, Jordan and James were absolutely amazing. They were very skilled, professional, timely, helpful and careful with our property.We are extremely happy with our deck and cannot thank these guys enough for being so amazing. Our experience with Hemma was amazing! Not only was the price very competitive, but the craftsmanship and care put into the deck was well worth the cost. From our initial meeting, Matt was very understanding and provided us a lot of information, and even gave us cost estimates for different options like a covering. Not once did we feel anything was pushed on us. Once we locked in the quote, they handled the rest, like permits and HOA approval. The deck was built during sub zero temperatures, but the built quality and the look didn’t suffer. Once weather warmed up, they fixed any issues we saw, which most were minor adjustments, and installed a weed barrier and stones underneath. We are very happy with our choice to go with Hemma and are excited to use our deck with spring and summer!
