My husband and I are very pleased with Hemma for multiple reasons. When they came out for a quote, they gave us pointers, other options we were not aware of, explained the procees in detail. They came out and looked at the area and explained the layout. They provided details of dates of materials an when the project would start. After we received the materials, we were updated with a start date.They kept us up to date on a daily basis. Showed up promptly and ready to work every morning. They were all very respectful and answered any questions we had along the way. They thoroughly explained the process. After the deck was completed, they cleaned our yard, the deck and any debris that came from the project and carefully power washed everything. Thent over the deck project with us to make sure we were pleased, if we had any questions or concerns. Our deck looks amazing and I'm not just saying that. We are very please with their work, along with the overall easy to work with and experience. I highly recommend this company!

I have so many fantastic things to say about our experience having our deck built by Hemma Decks!We moved into a new construction house and putting on a massive 18x38 composite deck had always been on our wishlist. It was such a big decision (and one we were very nervous to make), and after doing a bunch of research we chose Hemma Decks. Jerry was excellent helping us to make the right choices as we finalized our build, and the price was very fair when compared to other options.We are SO glad that we chose Hemma (we were very nervous because it was such a big project) but the owners Matt & George were extremely friendly and accommodating to what we wanted to do, and you could tell talking with them that they had a lot of experience.The best part however, was how talented the crew and workers were. They were so friendly, hardworking, and detail oriented. They took their time, and it was clear that they were making sure that everything looked perfect; and you can tell that they really took pride in the work that they were doing- and not just trying to get this finished and get on to the next project. So many of the neighbors mentioned to me how impressed they were with how focused the crew was - in the high heat of early July, no less!Not only did the project turn out great, but they even took a lot of care to clean up and wash off the deck afterword which was an excellent finishing touch.This is the second time we have had a deck built (our last one was on our previous house), and we had an amazing experience that time too, but somehow this managed to be even better!If you are on the fence, and considering choosing Hemma, let this be the sign for you - DO IT! We are so glad we did!

We found 1 small crack in a railing and they were back out fixing it within the same week free of cost. We’re very pleased with the final result and our kids use the deck constantly now. We had hired a different company that did not come through with the project so we were at a loss; but then Matt came back to give us an estimate and saved the day. Our experience with Hemma was amazing! Not only was the price very competitive, but the craftsmanship and care put into the deck was well worth the cost. From our initial meeting, Matt was very understanding and provided us a lot of information, and even gave us cost estimates for different options like a covering. Not once did we feel anything was pushed on us. Once we locked in the quote, they handled the rest, like permits and HOA approval. The deck was built during sub zero temperatures, but the built quality and the look didn’t suffer. Once weather warmed up, they fixed any issues we saw, which most were minor adjustments, and installed a weed barrier and stones underneath.
