We had Joe DJ our wedding and he was wonderful. He did a great job at keeping the party going, but was also very receptive when we wanted to get more heavier tunes into the night. Joe, Mikey, and everyone at Til Death Do Us Party were fantastic all the way from booking to getting married 2 years later, and we could not fault the service or the price. We would recommend to anyone wanting an alternative/emo DJ, absolutely brilliant!

Could not reccomend enough! We could not keep off the Dancefloor the entire evening & the setlist was perfect for our wedding and played non stop emo bangers & ourselves & our freinds had the best time! these guys brought immaculate vibes and it was just perfect!! 🫶

Used Til death for my wedding in July and it was a brilliant experience!! Everyone commented on the music and thought it was our playlist! Was nice to have a DJ that obviously knew what he was doing and loved the same music we did!!!

Highly recommend these guys!! Our wedding was 25th Sept and Mikey smashed it! I did not sit down the entire time, it was just pure bangers. Everyone kept commenting on how great the music was, thank you so much, it was incredible ❤️👌

cancelling just short of 2 weeks away from a wedding because "shit happens" .. owning a business can give some people a power trip and from what I've experienced and read something that was "out of your control" seemed to be controlled by you even after consequences not professional at all & overall disappointing

2026-09-03T07:21:25.000Z

Do not bother booking! Booked for our wedding (against our better judgement). initial responses to enquiries are quite quick but once you've paid don't expect any communication except for a reminder for the balance and a quick form to fill in about music. we received an email less than 2 weeks before saying our booking was cancelled due to 'unreliable DJs' despite being told it was Mikey himself who would be DJing? "unfortunately I can't be in 2 places at once" meaning for some reason that we weren't told someone else's event was more important to him? After the email (which came from a personal not the business contact) we got 0 responses on any platform to confirm it was indeed cancelled. wholly unprofessional would not book unless you're up for gambling and don't like communicating. edit: seems a lot of the business model to combat negative reviews is to say the same thing over and over to the person to make them seem unreasonable. I would say if you are struggling to get a response from Mikey leave a negative review and you'll get as many responses as you want 😊

We booked them for our wedding on the 12th September and had very little contact off them until being sent the form to fill in for our requests by Mikey, who told us he would be DJing our wedding, we filled this in but heard nothing else until getting an email from Mikey on what appeared to be a personal email address cancelling our wedding, less than 2 weeks away 'due to lack of DJs' even though it was supposed to be Mikey himself. We have then had no response at all to any of our emails or messages to confirm or explain this. They are very unprofessional. Thankfully we managed to secure another DJ fairly quickly. It definitely appears like we have dodged a bullet!

Mikey DJ’d our wedding last night and I honestly could not recommend higher. The music was absolutely incredible all night, everything was obviously cleverly curated and mixed together and exactly what we had asked for. All our must haves were played and even repeated on request! Thank you so much for making our wedding complete with all our favourites! 🤘

Where to start?! Mikey you smashed it out the park, you gave us the perfect mix of songs, easing in the crowd to start (for those none metal heads) to totally spotting the moments to go heavier and getting our mini mosh pit going. 🤘 And spot on communication from your team before hand, amazing price and just all round a great addition to our wedding! 100% RECOMMEND!!!

Mike & rich, you guys smashed it. Awesome set, perfect vibes and amazing sound and visuals. Hassle free and kept the party going. All our favourites were played, some surprise rock dubs and some choice favourites for the kids. Thank you for being a part of our day x

We hired Mikey for our wedding on Saturday (20.06.26). My MOH first saw Mikey's advert on Facebook and our immediate reaction was, "We need to book him ASAP!" Especially when both me and my partner listen to rock music. The booking process was so easy, and nothing was ever too much trouble. No request was too small, even on the day of the wedding itself. He was more than happy to add extra songs to the playlist and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. From start to finish, Mikey was amazing. Such a lovely person as well. Thank you, Mikey, for making our wedding party everything we hoped it would be and more. If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would. We couldn't recommend you enough!

awesome music choice, Mikey was happy and friendly, would recommend to any one who likes alternative music

we had DJ Mikey and the TDDUP team for.our weddinf yesterday. nothing was too much, the booking was easy, the pre wedding questionnaire and organising our first dance number and our preferences for the evening was a breeze. the entire night from the guys arriving to the end of the night was perfect. it was the most amazing evening and all of us had the Emo night to remember, Thankyou for making our wedding a night to remember

Booked these guys for my birthday and had a blast. Gave them my playlist and get a great mix of my favourite songs and other bangers on the day. Great people, great sound and a great service. Would recommend to anyone with an alt/emo/punk/metal music inclination. PS, we also booked them for our wedding 🤘

After booking in with Mikey he unfortunately missed and had to reschedule a couple of our meetings which were to help figure out logistics on the day. After discussing the fact the venue had no WiFi and phone signal, we curated a playlist to be played on the day which included requests from guests. Mikey promised that no songs would be cut in half as we had worried some of the heavier stuff may end up being faded out at the breakdowns. We'd also discussed that we wanted a memorial song playing which he agreed to play when we went over to say it was time. We had a mother daughter dance which we'd asked the same, we would let Mikey know when the time was right and he would announce both so people knew what was going on. Unfortunately, our first dance song was stopped half way through which left us pretty upset and guests confused. Our first dance song is only a 3 minute 30 second song. But it was stopped and cut short after around 1 minute 30. Immediately after stopping the first dance, the memorial song wad played (without us asking and without any announcement) which meant guests were busy chatting and we had no idea it was coming. After this, we noticed much of the music on the playlist we made had not been played, instead songs like Mysterious Girl were played which Mikey said was because he wanted to play "crowd pleasers". Given the fact that we'd curated the playlist including guest requests, the songs which would actually please the crowd did not end up being played and half the requested music wasn't played which again left guests confused and a bit annoyed. We had the best day, but our first dance being stopped half way through left us feeling pretty hurt and upset - not exactly something you can ask to do a second time really is it? We were gutted about the memorial song, but again what can we do? Unfortunately I wouldn't reccomend based on the experience we had, which is sad because we'd heard such positive things.

Absolutely amazing dj's, worth their weight in gold! Played banger after banger, such genuinely lovely people and a massive help when our venues sound limiter let us down. Kept the party going amazingly, cannot recommend enough!!!!! Thank you so much for making our wedding even more amazing🙌🏻❤️

2026-01-28T14:16:22.000Z

If I could give more than 5* I would!! The DJs(Mikey and Amber?) were simply amazing and went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable evening. (stress with a bad venue sound limiter didn't help) You cannot go wrong if you want an alternative DJ with a very good setup at your wedding/event!

The Team at TDDUP played at our Wedding last Wednesday and we had a great time! I had been in contact with Mikey prior to the day to iron out any concerns, he was very helpful and responded quickly to my messages. On the night, they played a brilliant mix of music, there was definitely something for everyone on the set! The team were enthusiastic and energetic, you could tell they enjoyed playing music for people, which is great to see. Although our Wedding was small, there were always people on the dance floor, and we got loads of compliments about the choice of music. Thank you guys, we had a fab night!

Huge thank you to our amazing wedding DJ, 𝑀𝒾𝓀𝑒𝓎, for absolutely smashing it on 10.11.2025! The music was incredible all night, I honestly didn’t leave the dance floor once! 🕺🎶 Couldn’t have asked for better!

2025-11-03T20:08:25.000Z

We were lucky enough to have our best friend Mikey DJ our wedding on 31/10/25 and even though we know him personally, we can honestly say he was amazing in every professional sense. He listened carefully to what we wanted, kept the dance floor full all night, and made sure the whole evening flowed perfectly. It’s hard to separate friendship from business sometimes, but he truly exceeded expectations as both a friend and a DJ. Couldn’t recommend anybody better🖤🖤

2025-10-22T14:45:13.000Z

We hired til death do us party for our wedding and had Rachel, she was amazing! Kept running things past us and our photographer about when things are happening. was more than happy to turn the music down for a little bit while little ears adjusted to it! She was so kind and lovely to talk to! I’d really recommend booking with them! We really wanted to play our own playlist and then have song suggestions/ extra songs and she knew exactly what to play to get people up and dancing as well as still doing our playlist!

I’ll update this review as things progress, that said I feel like I need to let others know what they’re in store for. As of writing this my invoice is due tomorrow and my wedding is in a little over 2 weeks (this is important info). So far there has been no meetings for details, they say this will be 30 days before the wedding, and have ignored 90% of communication from us. To their credit though they HAVE managed to send us an average of 2 invoices every week for the last 6. We finally managed to get something from them today…an ask for us to send them some Spotify playlists that we’d like. What am I paying for exactly? Now I know that equipment can be expensive (it’s just shy of £200 to rent it for a day) but it seems that I’m paying £300 for needless stress, ignored communication and the luxury of someone pressing play on my playlist. Edit 1: I had actually responded to Mikey below, I listed all the dates and timeframes he had given me for contact and the times he had failed to meet those times and dates. He deleted that comment so take that how you want to. I also filled in his form to book the call…that was 3 days ago. For someone who likes to say “It’s just a 15 minute call, it’s not that deep” he certainly seems to be struggling with it.

firstly, we just want to give both Mikey and his partner the biggest shout out for honestly giving us the best evening of our entire life. The music was a perfect blend of everything we had asked for from chapel rose and kpop demon hunters to slipknot and electric callboy. Extremely professional, friendly and easy to get hold of via whatsapp. If you want to get married to the love of your life whilst feeling like you have your own emo club night then this is the DJ for you. we highly recommend. Thank you for all of the mosh pits, laughs and crazy dance moves it was a night we will never forget. Tom and Sophie Piggott xx

2025-10-10T10:04:10.000Z

Delivered an incredible set of music, exactly along the lines of the brief, adjusting as the night went on and kept people dancing. It really did make the night even better. Thanks again for being a pleasure to deal with in the lead up to and during the wedding.

2025-09-09T10:32:49.000Z

We hired Mikey for our reception this past Saturday and it went really well , weve had so many positive comments from our guests. Particually when people realised that our venue was having major issues with the WiFi ( and tills). Mikey had a good amount of preloaded lists and managed well to make it work and still took the requests he was able to given the challenges faced! Thank you so much for delivering a great night under challenging circumstances!

2025-09-03T21:56:09.000Z

DJ Mikey was amazing! Played all the perfect songs for the moment, some metal remixes of pop songs were fantastic and we knew the real party started when limp bizkit, slipknot and rage against the machine came out! If you’re looking for an alt DJ for your wedding I couldn’t recommend more!
