Had to leave a review for this great place!My youngest daughter joined Metro TKWD in September 2025 with a lot of resistance to wanting to try something new. She joined a shy 5 year old that was only doing it because a friend was taking classes already. A year later going to Metro is the favourite part of her week and more importantly the shy resistant girl is growing into a confident 6 year old who loves the skills she is learning. Without a doubt this place really is all about the kids and helping them grow into more confident little people.Highly recommend Metro not just for their classes but also their spring break / summer camps. My daughter did a few of the summer camps this past summer and she came home every day feeling so good. A daily does of taekwondo for a few hours married with fun activities that included going to the park at Willingdon, swimming at Kensington pool, and bowling at REVS it was a jam packed week of fun that left her excited every night to go to camp the next day.Master Jason and Philip along with the rest of the staff have created a special place in Metro. Our daughter feels like she belongs when she is there and that type of community feeling every organization strives for but few get it right like Metro has!

We absolutely love Metro Taekwondo! Both of my boys started when they were just 4 years old, and now at 8 and 6, it’s been amazing to see how much they’ve grown—not just in their taekwondo skills, but in their confidence, discipline, focus, and character.The instructors are incredible—patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in every student. They are great role models for the kids. We also love the flexibility of class times and their summer camps are super fun!Highly recommend Metro Taekwondo to any family looking for an amazing studio!

They show up every day, present and engaging. We're so grateful to have found this studio and the exemplary teachers who lead it to excellence. Master Roiter, Master Philp & Master Marcus bring an energy, humour and discipline to each and every class that's truly impressive to behold. My 5-year-old had such a great week at Taekwondo Summer Camp! You can tell a lot of thought went into planning the week — I loved that they kept the kids active and out exploring the neighbourhood, with morning walks, the park, swimming, bowling, and of course lots of taekwondo.Such a fun mix of activities, and Instructor Phillip and the whole team were fantastic. Would definitely recommend!

My daughter is in the taekwondo program for over 5 years now. We chose Metro Performance Taekwondo because it was close to our place and we really enjoy it since then. It is good for my daughter not only to learn martial arts and burn energy but also to focus, be disciplined, and determined. It is fun and educational. My daughter would not change the summer camp here for any other camp.Update: still enjoying taekwondo and especially summer camps. Blessed to have you here dear team!

My son has been attending Metro Performance for the past couple years. The instructors there are all amazing - he wants to give an extra special shout-out to Masters Ruiter, Philip, and Marcos, and instructor Luke! They keep the learning environment so fun and positive. He has also attended their spring break and summer camps, and always has a blast. The flexible class schedule makes it easy for us to work around our other extracurriculars. Can't recommend this studio enough!

We've been at Metro Taekwondo for the past year and a half with our second kid, after our oldest also trained here for a couple of years. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and fantastic with the kids. Our kids especially love the summer camps—they're packed with fun activities, taekwondo, and field trips that help build confidence and independence. We've had a great experience with Metro Taekwondo and highly recommend it!

Metro Taekwondo has been an amazing experience for my two daughters!
