I have never been so upset with a salesman in my life. I have never been so upset with a salesman in my life. They came to my door to sell me pest control services and I explained to them that I was in a contract with another company and I would think about using them when I was out of contract. the guy kept going on with his sales pitch and wouldn't leave after telling him multiple times that I was not interested. he asked for the name of my current pest control companies name and wanted to email me a template that I could send to them for cancellation of services. I told him I was not interested again then he went on to explain how other people on my street signed up for his service and how I was doing a disservice to my neighbors by not signing up because they couldn't get "all the bugs" if they didn't service my house. I told him I wasn't interested. he then proceeded to take his phone out which had a clear case with a LDS temple recommend inside it and kept holding it up to me and making it a point to hold his phone in such a way to display it and wave it around when talking to me. he then asked me if I was LDS and tried to use that as a sales tactic to get me to sign up. I finally got him to leave. later that night my wife was outside watering some flowers at about 8:45 PM. he approached her and tried to sell it to her, and asked her if she was LDS and that a lot of my LDS neighbors in the ward boundary had signed up for it and then tried telling her that there were dangerous bugs in the area and that if she signed up for the services she would be keeping our kids safe, and that he was concerned for the welfare of our children. he told her that the company we use would not be sufficient to protect our house because they use an inferior product. she told him that she wasn't interested and started walking inside. 15 minutes later, he knocks on the door and tells us that he will do it for half price. we told him no again and he got very frustrated and said that he would be back and that we would sign up for the service. I told him no and to please leave my property because it was late. he walked the edge of my property for 15 minutes and then left. it was almost to the point of harassment. I have NEVER dealt with a more obnoxious sales person in my life. I am very upset with their sales tactics. I couldn't even sleep that night because I was so angry with the way I was treated and the condescending way they treated my wife. I told a bunch of neighbors about my experience the next day, and I got 2 people on my block who signed up the night before to cancel their contract before they came out for the initial service and to NEVER deal with them. I was so upset with the salesman and his shady tactics. I will tell everyone I know and will my neighbors. I beg anyone who reads this review to never use this company, or if they have signed up to get out of their contract . any company who has to resort to using these kind of sales tactics is abhorrent in my opinion.
