I came the start of 2026 as a beginner and the coaches & students here were awesome. Super welcoming and respectful.Expect a slightly laid-back culture for the gym, lots of families bring their kiddos here and people will be hanging out at the couches & tables in the main room. No strict titles for students or terms of address for the coaches, just be respectful.I'm def keeping my gi and merch from here, ppl gotta know about Zombie!

My son started training at Zombie when he was 10 years old, and now at 20, I can honestly say this place has become so much more than just a jiu-jitsu studio to us. We watched him grow up at Zombie, and Professor Tonche’s impact on him goes far beyond jiu-jitsu. He had a part in shaping him into the man he is today.My son has since joined the military and is stationed in another state, so he now trains at a different gyms, but he is still under Professor Tonche and Zombie. They stay in contact, and Professor Tonche continues to be someone who helps guide him.When you put your child into something at 10 years old, you don’t necessarily realize that the people they meet there may still be an important part of their life a decade later.Professor Tonche, the coaches, and everyone at Zombie will always be incredibly special to our family. They deserve so much credit for the years of time, knowledge, discipline, and effort they poured into our son. We couldn’t recommend Zombie enough.

I’ve traveled all across the country and had the opportunity to train in many great gyms and academies. Zombie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has hands down been my favorite of all the places I’ve personally gotten the chance to train at. Amazing environment that feels like a real family, and by far the best place to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the state of Texas.

Stop by here to watch the students learn. I noticed the instructor I was very willing and very capable and he even changed his teaching style mid demonstration to ensure that everyone understood what he wanted them to do. I highly recommend that people send their kids to a good instructor to learn martial arts. Start them young and they'll carry it for life.

My children have been at Zombie BJJ since they were 3 and 5, and now they are 9 and 11—still mastering the art of Jiu-Jitsu! The coaches are patient, highly knowledgeable, and extremely skilled.
