In person they are incredibly good, both as people and teachers. But the reason for the low rating is their billing. They out source their billing to another company, which makes it incredibly difficult to get your money back if anything in life happens, in which you have to pause your membership (since it is a forced 12 month commitment). They claim you can pause your membership if something stops you from coming for more than 30 days (you hurt yourself, have a work trip, etc), but as of now, that's clearly a lie. From my personal experience with this, they are almost helpful (the poeple who work at the gym), but ultimately, they don't control the billing, so if you have any issues, good luck.

If you’re visiting from out of town and looking for a place to train, look no further. I’m in town on vacation from North Carolina and had the pleasure of attending the 11:30 lunch class. Everyone was very welcoming, the gym was clean, and the instruction was superb. I had a great time training and can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the area. I’ll be bringing my gi next time for sure.

Went for a free day trail.Everyone was so friendly and helpful.It was nothing like expected and the instructor made the moves look easy but I soon found out that it’s from a lot of practice.All in all I loved it and I really wish I had taken a chance earlier on.If you ever wanted to learn BJJ or a little self defense or just need a way of doing fun exercise while learning a new skill.This is definitely the place to go.

I was traveling with family out of town and dropped in for a training sesh, the coach is extremely knowledgeable and his athletes are awesome, these guys will push you to be your best. If you’re in Abilene looking for a place to roll I recommend this gym. They’re good with all levels.

I was in Abilene on a business trip from Weatherford and decided to drop in for training. The instructors Joseph Tonche and his team were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I mentioned that I have a competition coming up and wanted to keep my intensity high. They understood that immediately and matched my pace without holding back.They even provided me with a Gi since I had forgotten mine, which says a lot about their hospitality and commitment to helping visitors feel included. The training was technical, challenging, and exactly what I needed. No ego, no hand-holding just solid jiu-jitsu and great people.If you’re in the Abilene area, I highly recommend training here. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in town.

Dropped in for two 6 AM classes at Zombie and loved it! Coach Jessie is phenomenal—expert, encouraging, and attentive. Classes were well-run, facility is clean, and the vibe is welcoming. Highly recommend!I will definitely be back!
