If you're the parent of a VERY energetic child and you're struggling to find an activity beyond swimming, t-ball, or soccer, this review is for you.We visited a few karate dojos before finding this one, and it was the perfect fit. My son started at 3 years old and definitely couldn't make it through a full one-hour class. (Hanshi Henry Graves never made us feel like he had to.) We started with 30 minutes, then 45 minutes and by age 5 he was happily participating in the entire 1-hour class. The classes are fun and engaging with sparring, games, and activities that keep the kids moving while teaching focus, confidence, and respect. The older students are also amazing role models. What really sets this dojo apart is Hanshi Henry Graves. He truly cares about every child. If your child is struggling at home or school, he's always willing to talk with them and encourage them. That kind of support is hard to find.I've seen an incredible boost in confidence in both of my kids, and we're so grateful we found this dojo. As an added bonus, one parent can train for free when you enroll your child. We can't recommend this place enough!
