I just wanted to say a GINORMOUS thank you to my dance coaches, teachers and dance family for being there for me! As my dance studio knows, over a year ago I fractured my L3 in my spine. I was in excruciating pain. I could not stand, sit down or even lay down in my bed without being in tears. I went from dancing everyday, to not being able to dance at all. For an athlete that is the worst feeling ever. I hate to do things half way so trying to learn steps was very hard because I wanted them to be perfect when I knew they just couldn't be right then. That time in my life was very, very hard on me. Not being able to dance, I would say I definitely had my depressed states. It was very hard not doing what I love to do or when I tired, it wouldn't be perfect. I thank God all the time that I have such amazing coaches and teachers that we're patient with me healing and especially patient with me having to re-learn most every single trick or turn I've ever known how to do. They were there through me healing and pushing me to be the best that I could possibly be, just as they do now. I have gained so much of my strength back just this summer. So I just wanted to say how big of an accomplishment these videos are and thank you all soo much for shaping me into the person and dancer I am today. It means the world and I'm so happy to be at such an amazing studio where I feel like family. I'm so proud of what I have accomplished and I am so happy when I walk into classes and practices now. Thank you all for pushing me and believing in me. It means more to me than I can express. I can't wait to see what else this season will lead me to do. This is going to be a great season!
So, from my previous post, I would recommend this studio to anyone and everyone. It’s not just a dance studio, it’s home.
