Robert's RV World

I bought my Iveco/Winnebago motorhome from Roberts RV World and agreed the purchase with them in about April 2025. As I was unable to take delivery of it for 3 months, Haydn, the Sales Manager kindly agreed to keep it for me for this period, free of charge. Having paid a deposit and half the purchase price a few weeks later, payment in full and completion was in early July 2025. The vehicle was in dire need of detailing - which I had assumed would be undertaken during this extended period. It wasn’t. I had to hassle and chase, every promise made on when this would be completed was broken. Eventually, when I went to pick it up on the Tuesday, things were still needing to be done to it. When I got it home, I had to spend a further day cleaning it myself. When spending $112,000 (plus taxes of course), I was not only extremely disappointed, but I was thoroughly fed up. It had been agreed that I could return after a one week trial to have any loose ends fixed up. There was a lot to be done but they’d only allocated half an hour. After much hassling, most of the outstanding issues were fixed in about 3.5 hours. One issue remained - which I was told was a service department issue - and after a year of continual questioning from me, remained unanswered. I have just sold the vehicle for way less than I’d hoped (on consignment in Perth) and they found a great many issues when putting it over the pits. These issues should’ve been picked up when it had its roadworthy upon my purchase. I am extremely disappointed with the whole experience and would not recommend this organisation to anyone.
