CORNERSTONE K9

We adopted our mixed-breed dog at about three years old after she had spent roughly two years in foster care. She was a sweet dog, but she had a lot of chaotic energy and very little formal training. While she knew a few commands, she was difficult to manage and we honestly worried whether we'd be able to handle her long-term.We enrolled her in Mike's 3-week board-and-train program, and the transformation was incredible. When he brought her home, the difference was night and day. She was calmer, more focused, and had a solid set of commands that gave us a reliable way to manage her behavior and energy. What impressed us most was Mike's approach. He's calm, patient, and practical. There was never any "dominate the dog" mentality - just simple, consistent training that made sense for both the dog and the owner. He took the time to explain not only what to do, but why it works.Several weeks later, our dog is still doing great, and Mike continues to provide follow-up support whenever needed. In fact, during a recent follow-up visit, she was absolutely thrilled to see him. As owners, that told us a lot. It was clear she trusted him, enjoyed working with him, and had formed a positive bond during training. His communication has been excellent throughout the entire process, and the continued support has been invaluable.I would recommend Mike and Cornerstone K9 to anyone, whether you're a first-time dog owner, have a rescue dog, or are dealing with challenging behaviors. We went from wondering if we'd ever be able to manage our dog to absolutely loving life with her. The difference has been invaluable.
