I started coming here after an accident, at which point my spine apparently decided that anatomical alignment was more of a suggestion than a requirement. I knew I wanted a Gonstead chiropractor - the only kind I trust- and had the extraordinary good fortune of finding this practice. I genuinely do not know what I would have done without them.They are exceptionally knowledgeable, careful, thorough, and attentive, and there is an enormous difference between someone simply making an adjustment and someone who actually understands what they are looking at, why something is hurting, and what needs to happen next.The entire office is warm, welcoming, funny, and genuinely caring. Between chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy, I leave every appointment both feeling better and with a new knowledge of muscles I previously had no idea existed. I look forward to each appointment, which is impressive because historically speaking, “medical appointment” and “highlight of my week” have occupied very different categories.Unfortunately for them, what began as post-accident care has now become a long-term arrangement. I have no intention of leaving. They know too much. They have my X-rays.Truly, I am enormously grateful to have found them. If you are looking for excellent Gonstead chiropractic care from people who are exceptionally good at what they do and make you feel genuinely cared for, this is the place.Five stars. Would entrust them with my vertebrae any day.

Once those initial problems were addressed, I transitioned—by choice—into a maintenance plan to keep everything aligned and functioning properly.Over time, my visits have decreased from a couple of times per month to once every 4–5 weeks. Initially I came in for extreme pain, when I knew my SI joint and low back were ou of whack. Alignment helped pain within hours. I continue w adjustment and therapeutic massages, along with strengthing excercises. This results in noticeable( to others) improved posture, plus allows me to continue stocking work at Northern Illinois FoodBank.
