Sharkey's is such a fun experience for my child. We were unable to get with her normal hairdresser and were given to Khalilah. Khalilah did an amazing job and was so nice to my daughter. My daughter wants her as her regular hairdresser now!

We brought our 1 year old in for his very first haircut, and we were honestly a little nervous because he’s a wild child and doesn’t like to sit still. Khalilah made the experience as smooth and enjoyable as we could have hoped for. Even though our little guy spent the entire haircut shaking his head, she was incredibly patient, kind, and professional. She took her time and still gave him a fantastic haircut.We’re so grateful for the wonderful experience. The first haircut package was also such a special touch. It included a lock of his hair, before-and-after photos, and a certificate to remember the occasion. We couldn’t have asked for a better first haircut experience. Thank you, Khalilah!

Nina is amazing! She is so patient and is great with kiddos that don’t love getting their haircut, like my son :)This past visit was the first time my son didn’t cry while getting his hair cut. We have tried different places and Nina was the only one that could help him get more comfortable. She has great techniques to help them get over the sensory part of the process whether it’s showing them how the clippers work and having them turn the button on and off or using the clippers on the back of my hand to show that they don’t hurt or letting the kiddo know that she’ll use the blow dryer to get the loose hair so they won’t be itchy. She is just the best!

It’s completely dedicated to children and making sure that they have a pleasant experience while getting their hair done in the atmosphere is nothing but joy and happiness. Took 3 kids. One of which is on the spectrum. It was a great experience for all 3. Hair washed, cut , some hair clips, nails painted, a balloon, and a free cookie a couple doors down. If you have a child on the spectrum, on the website you can generate a story to get your child prepared, and it helped out a lot. I highly recommend. We will be coming back.
