Made an appointment to meet with Mr. Aziz and check if I was able to have my vision corrected with new lenses. He checked my eyes and I was glad to hear I could have the procedure done. Mr. Aziz was really good and informative. I had the procedure done last week of March. I was nervous but I was quickly put at ease. All through the procedure Mr. Aziz spoke to me assuring me the whole time and explaining what was happening. I found it very helpful as I was nervous, but I need not have been. I worried for nothing. I never felt a thing and the whole experience went without a hitch. The great thing was I had perfect vision out of the right eye the next day, the left was a little cloudy. I was assured that this was quite normal, and it would become clearer as the days went by. A couple of days later the left eye cleared and I now can see everything clearly. I had my distance corrected but I can read books, letters and don't need my glasses. My sight for distance is perfect and it's like the whole world had really opened up for me. I would highly recommend having it done. You are in safe hands with Mr Aziz and the whole team of nurses who assisted me on the day. The nurses were great, so kind and re-assuring. I received a free video consultation with Dr Ahmad Aziz regarding revision surgery for eyelid retraction and rounded lateral canthus, caused by my original surgery. It’s 10 months since my original surgery and he told me to keep massaging upwards to see if it would improve the retraction. I appreciated this advice, I didn’t feel rushed or pressured into revision surgery. He explained the surgery that I would need to improve my issues, I feel confident this technique would help. I recently had a Ptosis surgery with Mr Aziz on one of my eyelids which drooped significantly lower than the other eyelid since birth. My eyelid is now healed, at a good height and is very symmetrical with my other eyelid. The recovery was not so bad, there was some significant swelling for the first few days and the eye was dry which has resolved now. I honestly cannot recommend Dr Aziz enough. I came to him a couple of weeks ago with a painful and debilitating eye ulcer after receiving awful advice elsewhere and waiting at two different London A&Es for over 6 hours, with still no treatment. After thorough testing, Dr Aziz was swift with recommending aggressive treatment for my eye (which has meant that it has now completely healed in the space of just a couple weeks - which I never thought it could have in such a short time with how swollen and bloodshot it was), but he was also very compassionate and humorous when I was in pain.
