One of the best gastronomic experiences I had in Boracay. The beef is sooo tender it literally melts in your mouth. The staff are also very attentive and courteous. The cherry on top of the meal is the free ice cream to cleanse the palate.Overall, the entire experience is hands-down one of the best you’ll ever find in Boracay.

⭐️ My honest review after dining here last night: 🥩 Meat: 4/10 – Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the hype. 🥬 Side dishes: The cabbage “mapakla” instead of fresh and naturally sweet. The rice was also disappointing—it didn’t taste like authentic Japanese rice and was overly soft ⏳ Waiting time: We waited almost an hour for our food. During that time, we weren’t even offered service water, which made the wait even more frustrating. ⭐️ Overall: It wasn’t worth the hype ❌, especially if you’re dining with kids or senior family members, as the long wait can be difficult for them. 😔 If you don’t mind spending the money and waiting a long time, you can still give it a try and decide for yourself. After getting declined twice for samgyup for being a solo diner, I am so happy they welcomed me with open arms 🥹 The ambiance is cozy and I wasn’t expecting the serving size! Of course on the pricier side, but you get to experience the taste of Japan. The food got 4/5 because the cooking time was a hit or miss for me. But overall, taste, amount of serving, quality of food, ambiance, and service, all good! And I also love their ice cream 😍

The meal was absolutely amazing we are in boracay for 3 days at we have been twice in a row and might even come back for our last day. We love gyakastu and this place is one of the best ones have been to. The wagyu cubes are melt in your mouth and almost suprised they aren’t a5 with how melt in your mouth they are. The gyakastu is also amazing and isn’t to much breading and every bite is amazing. It is also all you can eat sides and the potato salad and the cabbage with their house dressing are out of this world, i always never eat the cabbage at most places but the dressing is exquisite. you also get ice cream with you meal if you get the sets it is absolutely worth it. TRY THIS PLACE !!! you won’t regret it!

Stumbled across this place while walking to look for a place to eat, the sign out front caught our eye and we were welcomed in by the staff. The place was empty at ~3:30pm so we were sat immediately. Having just come from Japan, my expectations weren’t high but wow. The quality of the food is so good. You order a meal set and the sides are all you can eat. I enjoyed every side, such as cabbage with sesame dressing, potato salad, miso soup, and pickled cucumbers. The wagyu cubes are melt in your mouth and the thick cut gyukatsu is very flavorful and the breading wasn’t too much which was my initial concern. The meal includes ice cream for dessert, and the chocolate flavor is nice and rich. Mitch was our waitress and did a very good job refilling our sides and made sure we had everything we needed. Especially for the price, everything was amazing!! Will come back again soon!

Easily one of the best Japanese restaurants in Boracay. The food is exceptional: flavorful and authentic. Made with high-quality meat that you can really taste in every bite. But the real surprise was the omurice! Sa sobrang sarap, hindi na namin napicturan eh.Dining here felt like returning to a fond memory of Japan, thanks to the wonderful staff at Gyukatsu. It was clear they cared about making every guest feel welcome. Such a bonus that it's also a family-friendly place. Kids are welcome here.Considering the unlimited side dishes, the value for your money is incredible. This will definitely be one of your go-to places whenever you're in Boracay.
