I have no complaints on the product or service for the most part. But, professionalism and customer service are just as important as the service. I recently expressed my concern on a bad customer experience. It is at times like this that a small business owner should humble themselves and lead with an apology on the customer experience even if they don’t think that my feelings are valid and ask how they can make this right. Instead I was met with defensive energy and ten toes down that they were right and I was wrong. Pride is an evil thing. I was a client for over 6 years that never complained about prices, rarely had concerns about service and 98% of the time I was either early or on time. The one time that I asked to be fit in at the last minute, I even gave her a gift card on top of my payment plus tip. I always respected her time even when my time and/or feelings were not respected. It is very unfortunate that the one time that I expressed a concern, that time was not taken to think out the most professional, compassionate, and humble reply vs. the prideful, impulsive response to say that they were right and to completely discount what the client was feeling.
