My daughter started here a month ago, and she loves it! Dakota's classes are welcoming to all levels, and the students are all fantastic. My daughter is usually a very introverted person, and reluctant to try new things, but she jumped right in here and is already learning really good guitar skills. Dakota has students chasing their goals from day one, and my daughter has been playing songs since her first week of classes, not just notes, but recognizable songs. Only took one lesson to learn more then anything I’ve done in the past, currently almost a month in and doing very well.

Dakota is excellent at what he does. His teaching technique is unique. You learn a variety of skills as a beginner, of which I am. He makes learning fun, yet challenging. You don't feel inferior to those who have been playing for years, as there is a variety of students at different levels in the different courses offered, and Dakota treats everyone as equals. After 3 weeks of lessons, this completely greener than green newbie (me) has been able to put together simple 2 string cords that my wife can actually recognize the song I am attempting to play. Someday I will be able to play the riffs these guys wrote. Dakota has got my back.... More
