Coach Kate and I started 1:1 last June. That is when I started gaining more tools to battle this. I soon joined the Freedom AF group, jumping on zoom calls twice a week and becoming more active in the group chats. I’ve found this community to be my people. Kate shows empathy, support, encouragement and never gives up on me. Freedom AF is like a family. It’s where I turn when I don’t know how to keep going. It’s something I pray will always be a part of my life. I need it. I feel so grateful to have found it.

If you are looking for someone to help guide you on your journey to living an alcohol-free lifestyle, or just cutting back, Kate is a great resource and coach. She understands the journey as she is 5 years alcohol-free herself and thriving. Kate is a great listener, yet she guides you and is open about what it will take to reach your own personal goals. Kate is awesome! She is knowledgeable, compassionate, supportive, she was exactly what I needed. It has been a long journey for me with my struggles to give up my crutch, wine. I’ve tried many programs without lasting results. This time was I started by reading the book, “The Naked Mind” by Annie Grace, wonderful, and extremely helpful. But for me I needed something more and I found that with my coach, Kate, she helped me over that last hurdle. She listened with compassion, understood, offered advice and guided me along my journey. It wasn’t enough for me to want to give up my crutch but I needed to understand the reason why I felt I needed that crutch and how to accept it and find better ways of coping. I am now over six months AF and loving it. Thank you Kate!
