I found Bright beginnings during the early hours of the morning while researching ways to help my son . He had started reception class and we had a terrible family accident which had a real impact on him . I emailed school stating he would need emotional support on return to school after Christmas break . My then 4 year was treated unforgivably. He reverted into himself , his confidence was lost ... I found Bright beginnings during the early hours of the morning while researching ways to help my son . He had started reception class and we had a terrible family accident which had a real impact on him . I emailed school stating he would need emotional support on return to school after Christmas break . My then 4 year was treated unforgivably. He reverted into himself , his confidence was lost and he would say he did not know the answer rather than interact . Form teacher was incredibly rude to me as an adult . Senco was involved and I let my disappointment known and they were determined to label my child . I know him best ! I left a message and within 24 hrs or so a meeting was arranged with Tara , she listened to me ! Spoke to me politely as adult.All I heard was she could help ! Everything was booked and put in the post as soon as we finished . How was I going to explain to my son I had arranged another teacher twice a week , 1 after school and 1 on Sunday ? And that it was not a punishment? Turned a corner of the hall into his space , got a desk . First lesson was a Sunday and we met Miss Fiona , joined a group maybe half way in . He was tuck into me , he knew it but was scared and told himself stupid . My heart broke , Miss Fiona is a wonderful natural teacher , she has a true gift , reward points in each lesson . Patience and positive reinforcement. Learning became fun , no fuss I don’t want too mummy , no issue with doing home work and we both went back and did the work we missed not starting from the beginning. Joseph has blossomed , his confidence is back , he enjoys his lessons , he speaks and answers the questions and over the summer his conversational skills have exploded . Miss Fiona knows when to bring him back as he gets excited . He received a certificate addressed to him and a reward present for a new point system . We returned to school for of year 1 , with me thinking shall I move schools and been given 6 weeks up half term for decisions to be made !At school gates on collection from after school club a teacher finally praised my son ! What has happened over the summer ? His phonics , cursive writing and conversation has improved . He is like a little learning sponge. You have worked really hard , No not me Tara and Fiona , who saw my child as a child 4/5years old , who came from play based nursery no phonics to a strict school labelled outstanding but have forgotten there empathy . Fiona sends Joseph messages praising his home work . I understand class groups are big, morale is low but there is a child in the middle . Tara and Fiona answer my messages intended for the morning . Nothing is too much trouble . If they had a brick and mortar school , I would move and change profession to a teaching assistant . There passion to support children is obvious but the time and support they have given me as a parent desperate not to fail her child has been a blessing . They are open and honest and they have a pure passion to teach , coach and build children’s interest in learning no matter what there ability . I have spent nights up researching, buying nearly every product on the market at extortionate prices , including from US . This is my Son's 3rd month with Bright Beginnings. My Son enjoys his sessions ever week and looks forward to joining his small group. At the beginning he was not keen In joing a group, but after a few sessions he started to become confident, and I have noticed he is even reading out allowed. This is good practice because he now feels confident to read out allowed at school. His teacher Sinead is soooo lovely so friendly and her welcoming voice just makes me smile as a parent. My son engages well with her and her support is amazing. Tara is also excellent and is aways willing to help when I ask a question. Both are so approachable and they respond so quickly.The reason for joining BB is to help with my son's English reading and writing skills and to build his confidence. After his session each week, the next day he goes into school confident and shows a positive attitude.Damari started after his spring school assessment. We have just received his summer school assessment, and his marks have gone up in his reading and comprehension. I am so pleased. Amazing teachers amazing team5 ***** service. Less

At just four years old, Arya has shown remarkable improvement in reading, writing, and overall confidence has grown incredibly.Arya has developed a genuine love for reading. She can now recognize and read a variety of words and simple sentences independently. Her ability to sound out unfamiliar words has significantly improved, and she enjoys exploring new stories with enthusiasm and curiosityIn terms of writing, Arya has made impressive strides. She is beginning to form sentences on her own. Her penmanship has become more consistent, she demonstrates a growing understanding of basic grammar.Perhaps most notably, Arya's confidence has blossomed. She is eager to share her accomplishments. The sessions have helped us reach a milestone where it has been noticed by his teachers at school of a significant improvement in his focus and attention.I almost gave up. My daughter has struggled with her reading and writing since she began school. She is the youngest in her year and that gap was becoming increasingly apparent. I tried as best I could at home to help, but I felt very overwhelmed. My daughter around this time had started to say she was too poorly to go to school etc, and it was clear that she was suffering with anxiety, and at such a young age too... More

My daughter has struggled with her reading and writing since she began school. She is the youngest in her year and that gap was becoming increasingly apparent. I tried as best I could at home to help, but I felt very overwhelmed. My daughter around this time had started to say she was too poorly to go to school etc, and it was clear that she was suffering with anxiety, and at such a young age too. This as her Mother was heartbreaking.I’m not quite sure how I found Tara, but we begun her group sessions around 6 weeks ago. The difference in my daughter’s confidence is remarkable. With this change in confidence she is being spurred on to read more effectively- a change I didn’t think we would see within a year! She has a great bond with Tara too. We still have work to do- but she is doing so well. I would highly recommend Tara, she has helped my daughter so much. Now my daughter is keeping up with her peers, rather than falling behind! Less

My son writing has a big different compare with after he join your class and he can spell some sight words. And Caris is willing to write and I think that is she built up more confident than before. My daughter is attempting zoom reading sessions with Miss Tara for 7 weeks. I am very impressive how quickly she is learning . She enjoys a lot , she is much more confident than she was before and is able to ready simple sentences and has started to read a books with me already aspecially she started from the very beginning.I can see a progress every single week.Thank you:)))...
