We had a fantastic experience at The K9PT with our dog, Tomato! From the first phone call, I knew that it would be THE spot for his rehab. From the first consultation phone call, we felt truly welcomed and like part of the family. The entire team was kind and supportive, making the process smooth and enjoyable. Maddie, our physical therapist, was absolutely wonderful. She was so patient with Tomato, especially when he was a little hesitant about certain exercises. Her gentle and encouraging approach always helped him gain confidence and get there in the end. It was clear she genuinely cares about his well-being and wants the best for him. One of the things that has truly stood out to us is how The K9PT continues to check in on Tomato even after his sessions were completed. Their follow-ups never feel like a push for more business—just a genuine concern for how he’s doing. It’s clear that they are in this for the love of the dogs, and that level of care means the world to us. Thanks to The K9PT and Maddie, we’ve seen such great progress in Tomato, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for expert, compassionate care for their pup! Less

We (my pit Sunny and I) LOVE K9 PT. They are such a welcoming staff, beyond helpful and so thorough with everything. I initially came to them because my dog had two partial ACL tears, hip dysplasia and arthritis, and didn't want to go the surgery route if it wasn't completely necessary. Alex and Francisco walked me through a plan and provided guidance to get Sunny back to a healthy place. We have been seeing the team for about 8 months now, and Sunny is doing great thanks to K9PT. We brought our 8 year old dog here after CCL surgery for rehabilitation. We wanted to make sure we could find therapy that would not only help our dog get back to normal as soon as safely possible, but also improve his strength and mobility with the goal of avoiding any future issues as well. We were so happy we came to the K9PT! In addition to the in-office sessions, they provided exercises for us to do at home, which gave our dog something to look forward to during his time of limited mobility and helped us feel more empowered to enable his recovery. They have everything organized in an easy-to-use online platform so you don't have to worry about jotting things down. Our dog absolutely loved Dr. Francisco and Dr. Maddie and was so excited to see them. I waited a while to post this review because I wanted to see how our dog would fare in the longer term. I am happy to report that he is running, jumping, and climbing the many stairs in our home like a champ. We have received multiple comments (from strangers!) about how healthy and youthful he seems. I'm so happy our vet recommended the K9PT and would not hesitate to come back in the future! Less

I can never truly express how much this place and Dr. Alexander have given to us. We came to them after our senior pup was having neck issues/arthritis/suspected IVDD (on top of already having Cushing's) wanting to see if we could manage her symptoms and make sure she was comfortable in her twilight years. Their initial intake is very thorough and gives you a good baseline to track progress. We got to watch her progress as well as learn some exercises we could do at home (without fancy equipment) to keep her moving. The staff is so friendly and communicative and they celebrated the milestones with us as time went on. We recently had to say goodbye to our dear girl, but I can honestly say we got to enjoy some extra good years with her. While she definitely couldn't walk as far or as fast as she did when she was younger, we could still enjoy shorter walks with lots of sniffs. I can't thank K9PT enough for allowing us to make some more memories with our baby. Less

K9PT deserves ALL the stars! We noticed our dog, Maisy (8 yo), limping every now and then after walks and slowing down going up the stairs. Our vet recommended that we talk to an orthopedic surgeon for a consultation about whether or not she might need TPLO surgery. The surgeon said she was probably dealing with a minor and very early stage CCL tear. We talked through TPLO surgery but focused our conversation around getting another opinion from K9PT and giving PT a try first. I had already heard great things about K9PT through Maisy's rescue organization and our vet. Even before starting treatment, everyone at K9PT was extremely helpful. Francisco immediately responded to my initial email with a very thoughtful and validating response. He connected me with Emma, who set up a phone conversation with run through all the backend details (what happens in a session, pricing, timeline, etc.). Alexander was Maisy's physical therapist and he was SO accommodating to her initial anxieties and cautiousness. He was always sure to move calmly and quietly and reward her generously as she picked up new skills and confidence. Soon enough, Maisy was ready to show off and comfortable enough to give Alexander "kisses" (sniff his face). Maisy quickly began to love her sessions and performing her exercises. She also loved the PT massage (although she never got accustomed to the light therapy device). The progress Maisy has made physically is almost unbelievable. I keep saying she's like a puppy again: barreling up and down the stairs, jumping up on high surfaces, walking longer distances, zooming in the backyard. I love that it was a confidence building routine for her, too! During our last session, Alexander made sure that we were equipped with exercises and massage techniques to maintain her progress at home. We also have the option to continue less frequent maintenance sessions at K9PT with Alexander! Lastly, I want to note how kind everyone in the office is. We were always greeted with a smile that made Maisy's tail wag. We were even offered snacks and drinks at every visit (and of course Maisy always got spoiled with treats)! Less

My dog had a bilateral CCL repair in January, and I brought her to K9PT for her rehab and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! She’s a big lab mix, around 75 lbs, and can be very nervous around strangers and particularly men. Alexander was so wonderful and was so patient with her the first session, and by the second session she ran up to him wagging. He was incredibly communicative through the process about all of the steps and explaining the reasoning for each of the exercises so I would be able to apply them at home. Beyond his excellent care, the facility is extremely clean and professional, and Alex at the front desk was wonderful with helping with booking and scheduling. Overall I’m thrilled with the care my dog received here and how much it helped her ramp back up to doing her crazy zoomies around the park. Less
