I took the test and failed the first 2 times - 76 and 88. However, after completing Chapters 9-13, I took the test a 3rd time and passed with a 90%. Mark set the bar high, because he wants to know that you are knowledgeable to work in this industry. My Notary business goal is $2,500 a month. I am confident that I will be a Loan Signing Agent that looks something like the "mock" signing Mark illustrated in the training. I am serious about my business. He does not just share the canned details on the loan signing process but gives valuable suggestions how what specifically the industry needs from a desirable loan signing agent. Out of transparency, there are moments when this information is delivered a little rough but outside of that roughness is Mark's genuine desire to help us think for ourselves based on a set of principles that will guide us through the process, no matter what state we are in. He challenges us to become independent thinkers because in the midst of a loan signing, instinct is all you have (outside of cheat sheets and notes but those can feel a little less easy to fumble around for when you are trying to stay calm.) I decided to take the NNA Loan Signing training/exam before taking the LSS training/exam because I realized at some point there were a lot of intricate details and honestly despite the total cost, it was well worth it. I feel like I received basic, practical, formatted instruction from the NNA then with Marks program, I feel prepared to be more than just a signing agent, but a signing agent that will be valuable to this important decision in a home buyer/sellers life.
