Had an awful experience here asked to have full head of highlights and the hair stylist put two stripes in front of my hair for baby lights and cut half my hair off as she said “ end my hair were dead “ I had to grow my hair for months and was devastated as I only wanted an inch off . Everyone states you get offered tea or coffees but I did not it seemed locals were getting special treatment . I just visited esme hair salon for the first time this evening. I was very nervous booking another hair appointment after being to a lot of well known hair salons and never being satisfied with the results. I texted the instagram page and was immediately replied to by Ben. He was extremely helpful and gave me all of the information I needed! I couldn’t get over the prompt responses and how well he explained everything. I felt so comfortable in my decision to go ahead with the booking. Ben booked me in for the following day which I was so happy about. I arrived at the salon and firstly noticed how laid back and welcoming everyone was. The atmosphere was amazing and I felt comfortable straight away. Nadine then took me to start my weft extensions. She put me at ease straight away and explained step by step what she was going to do. I couldn’t believe when Nadine was finished my hair less than 40 minutes later. She was so efficient and professional. So down to earth and extremely easy to talk to. When I seen my hair I couldn’t get over it. It’s the happiest I have ever been with my hair (which I have been getting done 15 years now in other salons). Nadine knew what shade I was, what grams I needed and what way to style them. I didn’t have to say much Nadine knew exactly what I wanted just by looking at my hair. I have never seen such professionalism before and she done everything with such ease! I cannot thank her enough. I didn’t feel pressured into any decisions the girls are very down to earth and will do only what’s best for you and your hair. The whole experience from start to finish in this salon was 100/10 and I would highly recommend to anyone who has been wanting to try out a new place . I completed a weft refresher course in esme with Lisa . She has so much knowledge in weaves and has helped me gain my confidence. I would recommend the refresher course to any stylist who does weave extensions but is not fully confident ! Extremely rough and unprofessional service-They ruined my hair! When I went in I was blonde and ask to be lightened more with baby blonde extensions too. The owner forgot to order my blonde extensions and ended up dying my hair very dark brown to suit the dark brown extensions she had laying around in the back-without letting me know and behind my back! The horror when I realised my hair was dyed dark. I was met with aggression by the owner when I voiced that it needs to be fixed to blonde, she refused and told me to go home, I left and went back in to state again why did this happen and that it needs to be fixed and was told clearly "well I'm not fixing that"-by the owner. She refused to let me pay by card and insisted on cash only- definitely steer clear Less

throughout the consultation and appointment all of the staff were so helpful. They don’t push you towards the most expensive options like most salons do but instead what is best for your hair.
