This company was working on our garage door in our buildings underground parking. The older man saw myself and my kids getting ready to leave in our car, the garage door was open I walked right past them and took garbage out before getting in my car to leave. In the 2 minutes it took to get to my car and drive to the door they had closed it and started work. When I drove up I asked how long they would be he responded 10 minutes. I asked why he didn’t ask if we were leaving before closing the door. He didn’t respond, after sitting for 25 minutes and now late for an appointment I got out and asked how much longer, he said they were almost done. I was upset and reiterated that they should have asked us before closing the door, as they were very aware we were in the parking garage. He then said I was to blame as well as I knew they were the door guys, as if I was to know they’d be closing the doors for 30 minutes as that’s how long I sat there and waited. Very inconsiderate and very unprofessional.

It was time to replace our 26 year old twin garage doors and first to mind was Haws. Since I knew they had been local and around for over 40 years, figured they knew their stuff. From Tammy’s initial visit to quote, Diane’s help in the office to the installers John and Tye it was a pleasurable experience. Can’t say enough about the installers professionalism and customer service I received. Definitely a Business everyone should consider first.

I couldn't be happier with the service from Haws. The door and capping look fantastic. While we were waiting for the door to arrive my cables broke trapping our cars in the garage. They had someone come out within a day to fix it. Special thanks to Tammy and Diane for all they did for us.

Haws Garage doors are an outstanding business in Guelph & surrounding area. Today my garage door wouldn't properly close so I contacted them for a service call. About 15 minutes after having left a voice message they called me back to explain what likely was wrong. The electric eyes eyes were simply not aligned and the fix, which was explained to me over the phone, was so simple that all I had to do was adjust the mechanism that sends out the electric beam. The best part of their phone call was that they said they "wanted to hopefully save me a $150.00 service call fee." They did!Not many businesses will do that these days. We decided on Haws to repair our garage door due to the large number of very positive reviews. We were not disappointed. The technician arrived a day early, completed the repairs quickly and at a fair price. We will have them back in the spring to do some maintenance on the doors.
