This place is a small, family owned restaurant but it’s excellent! Food and service are always great. The skillets and omelets are always the best and nothing tastes close to these in the area. Prices are very reasonable for the area. The servers are always pleasant and professional, food is always out hot and quick.

First time here. Won't be my last for sure. Had the Mexican steak omelette with hash browns and toast. Very delicious and generous portions. Maria was an absolute gem, checking on me frequently to make sure I was good. Highly recommended.

Great local Breakfast at a Family owned Cafe.Very warm and friendly from the many extended Family working this Sunday morning.Very clean too.We were greeted by Monica, the owner, with a friendly good morning.American Breakfast for Corazon and Mexican for me.My 1st time to have Huevos Rancheros with Verde.Cora's Egg, Cheese and Bacon Sandwich was fluffy and delicious for her.Mine was excellent with the Verde Sauce and it had a strong kick to it. The Skirt Steak was so tender and juicy. I asked if they smacked it around and he said they hammer it with a tenderizing hammer 🔨 the night before. The Rice was very fluffy and had a slight hint of Jasmine, according to my Kommander.Very happy we stopped here.They have another Restaurant with more upscale, Dinner oriented, Meals in Lake Villa.We highly recommend this Gem of a Restaurant.👍

Excellent Huevos Ranchero this morning! Our second time here and it was as good as the first time. Great server Carla! She was very pleasant and I never ran out of water or coffee. High marks all around.

We made it out here after too many years living in the area. What can I say... The interior looks great and matches the wonderful service and food. Don't you love a place when you order Breakfast and coffee and they are there to refill your coffee before you have to ask, well that's Eggspress Cafe. The omelets are made right not folded eggs with meats or veggies and cheese they are baked and are fluffy and stuff with everything your heart or stomach desires. I need to come for lunch or dinner because those menus sound good. 10/10 would recommend and will be back for the other menus.

I came here on a whim because I was waiting for my car at the Nissan nearby to get fixed.And OMG! This place was such an unexpected surprise! Friendly staff, clean dining and just overall delicious. I mean it.The Chilaquiles are crunchy, not very spicy at all if you get green sauce. And it was saucy if you like that. But it tasted incredible. I've tried many different types of the dish, but this one was definitely a diamond in the rough for me.The Iced coffee ☕️ is not Starbucks by any means. But it captures that home-made aesthetic very well. And yes, the good kind of home-made.I will be returning!

Food and service was super great. We had the quessabirra tacos with rice/beans and the meat lovers Skillet. Everything was so yummy. We've been here once before and definitely feel like this is our new favorite spot when we are in town. They've got another restaurant called Kasa Amigos just a bit down the street for dinner time that opens at 3pm.
