Absolutely amazing dojo that happily takes on everyone no matter the age, fitness levels or even disabilities. I have siezures and sensei Dan has done everything to get me to my red belt and seems to have taken it as a personal challenge to get me to black belt. Being at black Paw she's grown into a more confident girl, has made a lot of friends, and started getting top marks at school because she had more focus she learnt to control her distractions and is so much happier . Black Paw is a community everyone champions each other and celebrates each others successes which makes it feel more like a family . No one is pressured and everyone learns at their own speed. They also give you the chance to be on the other side by becoming junior instructors or dojo assistants to higher and that learns you responsibility and commitment. My daughter is now a black belt and a junior instructor and she's never looked back , she loves it and it's a part of her now . Highly recommended give it a go ! . Less

I joined BPMA in July mid lockdown when most other clubs had closed their doors, awaiting lockdown to end. Instead BPMA continued to deliver classes online, which showed great commitment to their students.. These guys have created a fantastic club, which always goes above and beyond for their students. From the first class I attended I was made to feel very welcome. All the students were helpful and supportive. Now that we’re back in lockdown once again, they’re still open and running regular classes, where others have once again closed. It’s great to see new students joining weekly and I would recommend it to anybody who’s been thinking about giving it a go. Less

There was no pressure on people who had injuries/sore muscles etc. I was treated with such respect and welcoming that I felt like I was part of their family.
