Tried Hook & Bun in Wylie today and the food was absolutely amazing! I had the jumbo shrimp basket and the shrimp is huge and full of flavor.Many sauces to pick from but the Cajun is unbelievable. There are also plenty of sides to choose from I tried the mac and cheese and it’s the best I’ve ever had.They also have burgers and fish plates on the menu I’ll try next time.Great food, generous portions and lots of options. I’ll definitely be back!

The girl working the counter was so helpful and patient. EXCELLENT customer service. The food was incredible (mac and cheese burger, plain cheese burger, patty melt, and an Italian beef). Please yall go check them out! We dont need another good, small business to leave us! Can't wait to go back, the Italian beef was everything my Chicagoan heart hoped it would be.

Ordered $100 worth of food online. Picked up,missing an order of fries, mac and cheese and was told the pickles shown with the chicken sandwich online were a prop and did not come with the sandwich.Went right back to the restaurant to get the sides that were missing. Was told by a gentleman in chef coat we were lying that he remembered putting them in the order. Refused to help us at all.Classic stepping over a dollar bill to pick up a nickel. You have lost our business over an order of fries.

The food was amazing. The ladies that took our order were friendly and informative. They weren’t busy when we went in but our order got lost somehow. They apologized and we will definitely give them another try. We had a burger, catfish and chicken. The catfish was the real standout. The batter was very good, nothing was overcooked. The fish and shrimp was really good. The one thing that I would change is add spice to the hush puppies. Jenna working at the front was awesome. She was patient the new customers and treated us like she wanted us to be there as well as enjoy the food.

This place is great!! That sauce they use on the smash burgers is so good. Taylee provided amazing service and makes everyone feel at home. The French fries are crinkled cut and seasoned and again that sauce to dip…..YO!! Next time I’ll probably get the cheesesteak sandwich and then the jumbo shrimp platter for sure

The food was just mediocre. Super greasy and EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. This place will not succeed being so high. We ordered 2 sides of onion rings and got literally 6 onion rings…. Paid $6 for a side of sweet potato fries for half an order. Just not right. Definitely will not return.

The place is GREAT! The food is delicious! I don't know how you do it but the fries are really crispy but not brown (from been in the frier too long), and no burn color but yet perfect in the inside. I had the catfish plate. The seasoning used was really good and so is the Mac and cheese. Ya'll need to try this place. Great atmosphere, too! Friendly staff, so sweet and attentive.
