Signing up for the beginner class with Leroy at HR Salsa has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. What I love most is the small class size—it allows for a great amount of individual oversight. Leroy genuinely pays attention to everyone. He catches the weak areas in my technique that I didn't even realize I needed to work on, and guides you directly so you aren't just going through the motions or mindlessly repeating steps. He does it in a way that is incredibly encouraging without ever making you feel embarrassed.Another huge plus is that you absolutely do not need to bring a partner. The class rotates partners constantly, giving you the chance to practice with all sorts of people with varying levels of experience. The cost is very reasonable for the opportunity to get out burn calories, have fun, and meet new people!

Fun dance classes. Leroy is able to break everything down in easy to understand ways. You’ll definitely learn a lot and have a fun time.

The design of the class was exactly what I needed to build the fundamentals. Definitely plan on taking the next cycle.

I was in the Salsa 1 Beginner class and Leroy was so great!! He was patient, corrected what he saw, and encouraged the good things! It was such a fun class where I got the attention needed to learn and be exposed to the basics (turns included!!!) and set a great foundation. Though the thought of "social dancing" scares me, if I were pulled or pushed into it, I'm confident I could at least function and be a fun, low level, semiclumsy dance partner for a song... thanks Leroy! Fwwwiiive... 🤣
