G & V Tree Service, Inc. provides stand-alone (paid) tree assessments which is exactly what I was looking for. The fact that the assessment itself was paid allowed it to be worthwhile to the company in its own right, so there was less of an element of recommending work for the sake of a sale. Gary Teates, an arborist with a wealth of knowledge and experience, provided me with an honest risk assessment for the trees on my property. After his independent assessment, I asked him about some of the things which a different company told me via their "free" assessment, and I am more confident that I am making the best choices for my property and risk tolerance.

Highly recommend G&V Tree Service for excellent work at a fair price. They were very quick to respond & remove a large tree in my yard that was damaged in the latest windstorm. I was impressed with how quickly and professionally Edwin's team took the tree down despite the difficult position it was in (cracked and leaning against another tree). Within a matter of hours, the tree was gone and the job site was cleaned. I have used G&V on multiple occasions; they are always my go to company for tree work.

The trees were trimmed professionally and Care was taken not to damage my lawn. The workers were professional and very safe. I have no problems with recommending and I will be using them again. Highly recommend G&V Tree Service! Out of five companies, they were the only ones who spotted a downspout near the removal site and planned accordingly to avoid damage. Edwin provided excellent communication throughout the process, keeping me updated on Ms. utility reports and scheduling. They were fast, professional, and thorough. I’ll be using them for all my tree care from now on.
