Aaron Cain old apprentice. Not many tattooers just get an invite from vinnies. To leave ur current shop. Commute almost 2 hours. Come work at vinnies. He’s really lucky. Very hard working. OK, check it out. I’m a tattoo artist myself going on 35 years in the industry. On my way down south I cut through this little town and I came across this little tattoo studio. To me it looked like an old school tattoo Parlor so I decided to go inside and just check it out as I own a very successful studio in New Jersey and at times I like to see what other shops are doing. immediately upon entering I got a huge “Welcome to Black Crown tattoo”… I said what’s up and introduced myself. The owner of the shop is the young country boy where my guess is he’s about 30 years old. I say country boy because he’s got such a southern accent ha ha ha. Before I went, I checked out the reviews on Google. They were all good except for one Idiot who said he went there, but the shop was closed at that time. Well, if you look at the front door, there’s a sign that says we close one hour every evening for lunch/dinner. that guy left a bad review because this guy was eating dinner. L O L then I looked up other reviews that the guy left and they were all complaints to where people must dread this guy if he goes into their business. He’s like the aunt that everybody hates that comes by every Christmas. LoL. After being there for about 10 minutes, I took a look at his drawings and I must say the kids got talent. I saw an Old School Traditional Jesus portrait that he drew up and had pinned on his wall. I said who’s getting that Jesus piece? He said I drew it for somebody but they never came back for it. I said yeah well that’s their loss. Let’s do it! Now take into consideration, I own one of the best shops in New Jersey which means I have some of the best artists working for me, but I’m allowing this country boy to TATTOO me! That right there should tell you how good this man is at what he does. My guys are still giving me shit over, allowing an outsider to tattoo me when they never had a chance. That says a lot about how good this guy is. Took about an hour and a half to finish it and it’s right above my right kneecap, which is a hard area to TATTOO but he nailed it. I have a full Japanese bodysuit and out of all my tattoos this little Jesus face became my favorite one so far so once again that’s a compliment times 1000 to this gentleman at Black Crown TATTOO. Several people came in while he was tattooing me and his multitasking was right on point! he answered their questions but first he asked me if I wouldn’t mind if he could answer the questions and I thought that was nice at least he asked my permission. I said go right ahead because I wanted to see how he would talk to them. Needless to say as I was leaving, I offered him a guest spot at my shop. Remember now, I have trained killers that work for me and to find another one like them in this little town as I was just passing through is like finding the needle in the haystack. Seriously people if you’re looking for a really great tattoo and you’re anywhere near this guy shop go check him out. It’s definitely worth the trip. You’ll get a great tattoo at a great price and they also do body piercing there, so go get a hole poked with Soul at Black Crown tattoo. Damn that sounded good. Lol thanks again, brother. I really appreciate the service. Best of luck to you and make sure once you get established and you get some guys working for you that you takeoff a week or so and come see us, I’ll put your ass to work.. thanks again.
