Our daughter started in Ready Set Dance and over the years has worked her way up to Performance Team. In that time she has made friendships that I am sure will last a lifetime as they move forward together over the coming years. Not only has she developed a love for dance but also theatre. Our son started during covid lockdown and went from classes on zoom (which he wouldn’t let us watch) to being confident on stage and enjoying Theatre and Dance in a recreational format. We love that the younger students have well rounded role models in the older students to look up. The staff at The Base are great at encouraging the kids and making it fun whilst ensuring a safe and respectful environment. We highly recommend joining The Base family whatever age, experience and skill level.

Both my daughters dance at The Base Performing Arts and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The Director Yana works very hard to ensure she offers quality classes that not only focus on technique and engaging content but it's also very important to her that it is done in a safe and nurturing environment. The positive supportive culture she has created is displayed throughout all teachers, students and parents and it's a pleasure to be a part of. One of my daughters is working towards a career in the Performing Arts and she takes part in the weekly Intensive Training Program. This is a brilliant holistic program preparing her for any future full time external training she may do. Whether you are looking for a dance studio for fun and recreation or a quality dance studio for the aspiring performers you can't go past The Base Performing Arts.

The Base is a great school for our youth. Miss Yana & her team of teachers are not only passionate about teaching great technique, they are also focused on fostering an awesome culture & developing these young’s people outside the studio as well. It’s a great team and the older dancers are always helping the younger ones. Would highly recommend The Base for your kids

If you want to engage your 2 year old, check it out. I rarely get to see my girl totally engaged in something. So great to see her "concentrating face" when she does.
