First off, WOW! I have been working with Dr. Sonza for a month now, and I see drastic results. First off, she is very personable and EXTREMELY knowledgeable about what she is talking about, all you have to do is trust the process. Yes things happens in life but you should not neglect your patient in the process. I was the one that had to reached out to you and you took two weeks to response to my email and then a call (two weeks). I requested a copy of my medical record two months ago and still have not received them. You could have one of your staff call me and advise me what's going on or you should have another healthcare provider or another nurse practitioner to help take care of your patients when personal things happens in your life. Hospitals and other healthcare providers office don't neglect their patients because of COVID19 they still remain open to take care of patients in need. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL the way you handled me as your patient during your personal crisis. I basically was neglected in your so call care because of COVID 19 and death in your family WOW!! You put me on hormonal medications that needed to be monitored carefully which was not. I knew something was wrong with the dose you prescribe to me. I had to call the pharmacy many times to ask questions on my prescribe medications because you were not available to answer any of my questions while I was suffering literally!! Advise to other patients blood work is not accurate for hormonal imbalances issues. Saliva test is what you need. So call Dr. Sonza is not capable to handle women with hormonal issues. I would not recommend any to see you not even my worse enemy. You should be ashamed of yourself making excuses for your unprofessional behavior. Last year, my husband and I decided to focus on our health and he started working with Dr. Sonza in April and I in July. During the first visit, Dr. Sonza takes the time to explain how Functional Medicine works in depth and the role of the gut in our overall health. She also spends a lot of time patiently collecting detailed history in line with her holistic approach of knowing the individual rather than simply treat a specific condition. The detailed blood work that she runs also covers genetic predispositions which allows her to prescribe vitamins and supplements that will actually be absorbed instead of being passed through. At the end of the elimination diet, we realized that gluten was a major irritant for both of us and started to systematically eliminate gluten from our diets. As a result of the change in diet and the supplements, I'm now at a point where my latest blood reports were so positive that I was able to talk to my cardiologist and get off the statin. The gut cleansing has helped manage my chronic constipation as well. My husband's cholesterol numbers have also been at an all-time-low in his latest blood work.
