We had Jack and Tom out to in January repair a leak on my mother's garage roof, and they did an excellent job. They removed the old flashing and replaced it with torch-on felt, adding extra coverage and installing it to building standards with a 150mm upstand. They also extended the downpipe a little bit to prevent water from backing up. We’re very pleased with the quality of the work and would happily recommend them.

I honestly can't recommend Jack highly enough.From the very first day, he was punctual, reliable and incredibly hard working. He arrived early every morning, got straight to work and made the most of every day. He even worked Saturdays to keep the project moving, which really showed his commitment to delivering the project on time.The quality of his workmanship has been outstanding, and we're absolutely delighted with our new loft conversion. Throughout the build, he took real pride in his work and was always happy to explain what he was doing, even going into the technical aspects of the construction so I fully understood the process. It gave me a lot of confidence that everything was being done properly.One thing I particularly appreciated was his honesty and transparency. Whenever an unexpected cost arose, he always spoke to me first, explained exactly why it was needed, talked me through the different options (including any lower-cost alternatives where appropriate) and gave his professional recommendation. At no point did I feel pressured, and I always knew where I stood financially.Jack was also incredibly trustworthy. I felt completely comfortable leaving him in my home while I went out for the school run or to run errands, which says a lot. Having someone working in your home for several weeks is a big deal, but he made the whole experience completely stress-free.His respect for our home was second to none. At the end of every day he made sure the house was left clean and tidy, vacuuming all the areas where there had been foot traffic and keeping disruption to a minimum. It was genuinely impressive how organised and considerate he was throughout the entire project.Communication was excellent from start to finish. He kept me updated every step of the way, was approachable, friendly and always happy to answer my endless questions!If you're looking for a builder who is skilled, reliable, hardworking, trustworthy and genuinely takes pride in delivering a high-quality finish, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jack. We are Really pleased with the service from start to finish from the team at adaptive living .Communication was clear throughout, they arrived when they said they would, worked professionally and kept everything tidy.
