Hunter is the best! I met him at a salsa workshop he taught in 2017 when I was curious about participating in salsa competitions as a beginner. I started taking lessons with Hunter and he introduced me to everything I needed to know - how to master the basics, the importance of timing & musicality, how to stay connected with your partner, how to create body movement, and among many other skills, how to enjoy the process, which we all know can be tough when we need to improve! It has been a pleasure working with Hunter. I first worked with him when I participated in a hustle performance challenge that he ran with Selena Tornez. I was lucky enough to be paired with him for the performance! It was a blast, and I got my first bits of insight on how professional and hardworking he is. This led me to ask him to coach me and choreograph a pro-am salsa partner-work routine to compete with at The Summit! He brought my vision of a song to life and challenged me with tough choreo.
