I left my motorbike with Moto Trekkin to have some basic work done and we had big problems. Real big problems. But to be fair the issue was not really their fault and it could have happened anywhere and to anyone. But even so it caused a lot of distress to both Moto Trekking and me. It took a bit of time but eventually we worked it out. During this ordeal I got to know Jay and can confirm he is a great bloke and is a man of his word.He invited me to come to his Off-Road Master Class Course and all I can say is, "Wow!" Over the course of two days he and his team explained and demonstrated techniques and challenged us all to push our limits as we copied and learnt under their guidance. My confidence off-road has increased dramatically and for that I'm truly grateful. I now have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jay and Moto Trekkin for everything they offer.

After struggling in dealing with almost every single motorcycle business in Newcastle and Hunter Valley over the years, I stumbled upon these guys and I’ve got to say, they’re a breath of fresh air.Good old-fashioned customer service, the kind that used to be everywhere but seems to have died somewhere along the way and it’s like nobody understands the basic principles of it anymore (especially in the motorcycle industry 🤨)I hate paying amateurs, and doubly so when they treat you as an inconvenience or an idiot. It’s gotten to the point where I was about to invest in tools and training to start doing all my own bike maintenance at home.But then I gave the team at Moto Trekkin a go.Every person I dealt with was friendly, helpful and professional. Including the mechanic who worked on my bike, who obviously knew his stuff. They really looked after me and could be more helpful.I couldn’t be happier, and I’m absolutely going to be running ALL my bike business through these guys.

Fixed the water pump and fuel pump on my BMW G650GS about 2 years ago and both items are still working perfectly so it's five stars from me for that.Cost me about $800 or so including oil/oil change/coolant change....and they cleaned the bike and did the usual clutch / chain adjustments / lubrication, and air filter change as well.Had a few minor issues which were addressed after I informed them so while not perfect there's definitely a level of effort and commitment here that you won't often find from a dealershipOverall, the bike came back to me in better shape than when I dropped it off.

Just returned from NZSI 2025 with MotoTrekkin.What a way to see New Zealand south island country!!Great organisation, support and company.Enjoyed doing things at my own pace, but with the backup if needed.A great turn-key solution for an adventure I would not myself have the time or resources to plan.Highly recommend it.Have done their Master Class Development Program (Phase 1), 2x Ridge Riders (RRIV Canberra-Coffs May 2024, RRV Tasmania in May 2025) and now NZI Nov 2025 with MotoTrekkin.Didn't hesitate to sign up for Ridge Rider VI (Yarra to Hunter in May 2026)Well done Jay and all the crew, who worked tirelessly.

I can’t say enough about this course, as a 55 yr old female that only decided to start adventure riding in April I was a bit hesitant as everything about the dirt scared me. I asked Jay about his Adventure riding course and thought I can’t do it and I didn’t want to be the only female in a group of men as they would all be able to ride. Jay just said you can do it so off I went to the 2 day course and didn’t I just love it. I could do all the different activities which really surprised me as I was learning the correct methods. I learned so much and everything I was scared of was explained and shown in simple form to understand easily. There was no pressure and I felt at ease both days. To overcome my fears and now love the dirt is awesome. I can’t thank Jay and Emily enough. If you are thinking about doing adventure riding go do this course it’s the best way to learn correctly first time. Definitely 5✨

Having become fed up with incredibly bad service at dealer workshops I went out on a limb and took my Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer to Moto Trekkin for a log book service and tyre change. So glad I did. My bike has now found a new home. Jay, Jess and the team made me feel like a lifelong customer. Friendly and thoughtful...even drove me into the shopping centre and picked me up so I had something to do while I waited. Pricing was very reasonable and workmanship was spot on. Made some improvements to my comms while it was there. I'll never go back to dealerships. Definately a regular customer now and will recommend others. Well done guys. Great job.

These guys serviced my 2003 GS 1150 prior to me doing the Big Lap around Australia last year. I did over 15000Ks in 39 days without any problems. Had a quick oil change in Katherine and replaced a rear tyre in Perth, just for peace of mind. It's a family business and the staff are very experienced and friendly. They catered to my biking needs for this road trip and I can highly recommend them.
