The Expert Shutter Services Inc. is the best company you will find for your home window needs. Great customer service and they are with the customer from the beginning to the very end. They are so professionally courteous with their customer and ready to ask any question you may have. Plus they have a great product warranty for many years. This is a relatively new product for Expert Shutters, that they have worked hard to develop and perfect over the last couple years.We have been so happy with Expert’s accordion shutters, for years, that we are very anxious to try out their newest product design.Again, can’t say enough good about Luis and the service that we have had from Expert Shutters.I will end with this….we installed these original shutters 5 years ago, and never thought we’d see Expert Shutter again….We were wrong.For the past 5 years, Expert Shutter calls and comes out to the house, once a year, and greases, cleans and maintains the current shutters, so, EVERY time i need to close them, it can be done with one hand 🤚If you don’t have Expert Shutters Hurricane shutters, on your house, we really think you’re missing out. I found this out through a virtual contract I had to sign. I called back and asked about this situation and they said my quote was for erosion which was no where near what I asked for. And that there was no way to avoid the 85$ fee. I was pretty frustrated since I have no idea (not even a range) of how much this job would cost. They could not provide me with a quote over the phone or even a range of the price. Therefore I decided to go with somewhere that has free estimates so that there are no surprises or money lost on my end. Less

I could see the tornado approaching fast! Thanks to our new screens, I was able to pull them down easily and lock them into place just in time for us to get inside as the tornado hit. It only lasted a few minutes, but we could hear debris crashing against our walls and roof. Afterward, we went outside to check for damage. Our roof had several holes from tiles flying off other houses, and there were gouges on the stucco walls from vegetation and bricks. But the amazing part? Our impact screens took some hits too, yet they held strong and protected our patio doors from breaking! I’m so impressed with how quickly and easily the screens were able to be pulled down and set in place, and how well they performed! The office is great and always follows up. My only feedback for improvement would be to the installer who did the caulking - take your time and smooth the caulk out. (The original shutters were also bought from Expert Shutters and had lasted for almost 40 years.) The installation was completed by Angel and Trevor who worked under the blazing hot August sun, and under the pressure of hurricane season! They were professional, on time and were careful as they brought the new shutters through the condo for installation. We requested more openings in our shutter arrangement, and after getting approval from the condo association, Angel and Trevor came back to finish the job. BAD EXPERIENCE - December 2022, I called Expert Shutter Services Inc. to repair my Florida shutters. Upon calling Expert Shutters to address the repair on their shoddy work, they stated " they couldn't come back for 2 months to address the issue that was never completed in December! I asked to speak with the supervisor, owner ASAP to explain the situation and NO ONE HAS CALLED TO DATE to speak with me about the much needed repair that was NEVER completed! Extremely poor customer service! I would give "0" stars! Cost me more money to fix their incompetence! I was referred to another Shutter Co. and I was extremely grateful and satisfied that it was serviced on the same day that I noticed the horrendous problem created by Expert Shutter Services! He explained everything in the process clearly, took preliminary measurements, made a sketch of the scope of the work, and gave me a written estimate. The price was about what I had expected and we made a deal. My only requirement was that the work be completed before the onset of Hurricane Season in June. The installation crew(s) arrived in the middle of May. It was a big job and it took three days to complete, which meant three different crews. Each of them worked diligently and professionally in completing the installation and I was satisfied with their work. And they met my deadline of being complete by the First of June. Todd (one of their sales reps) came out very quickly and was able to get us a very detailed quote and explained the process thoroughly. He was very attentive with our questions and kept in contact with us until we signed the paper work to move forward! They made everything very easy to pay for when it came to your deposit and gave us a 10 week window for completion. The next few weeks they called to set up the measurement appointment and were able to come out so fast! They were prompt and on time and very nice! Finally they called to set up the installation date and arrived next day and on time and were finished in an awesome amount of time and everything looks amazing! Having to install those shutters a few times in recent years, we now wanted to upgrade to the more convenient Rolling Shutters and some Accordion Shutters. Cameron was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in helping us decide where which type of shutter is most appropriate. We went by the showroom and Michael spent a considerable amount of time with us which was greatly appreciated. Billy did all the necessary measurements and judging the smooth installation did a great job. The estimated delivery & installation was 10-12 weeks. They were a month early and we had everything installed before Christmas. The installation team Chad, James, Louis, Joseph, Brian, Daniel did a fantastic job! After final inspection, Luc came out to put the final touch. Throughout the entire process, the office team, Jade, Kelly, and Savanna, were always ready to answer questions. I called ESS earlier in the week when the lady confirmed the measure technician would be at the house for a final measurement on Friday and that they would call me the day prior to confirm the time the technician would arrive… I received a call on Wednesday from ESS stating the measure technician would be here on Thursday between 9-12 in the morning…not Friday. When I called to ask where the technician was, they said it was still scheduled for Friday, not Thursday, and basically, “oh well, sorry” To the fact that I took three hours off of which cost me $300, But that the technician would be here on Friday. I asked to speak to the manager or owner, who I was told the manager Shannon. I was told she was not immediately available to my response was either herself or the owner could call me by the end of the day or otherwise I would likely cancel the install. The administrative staff, Faryn and Connie were always responsive to my calls, once I had signed the sales order. Billie came over to my unit to do a final measurement, and while he was with me he answered a few additional questions that I had. At installation time, Justin and Chris arrived with all the material for the job. They were very careful not to damage anything in my unit. They spent a great deal of time removing the old shutters and tracks, and installing the new materials. They went out of their way to make sure that everything was working perfectly, and then gave me detailed instructions on the care and the operation of the new shutters. The new shutters look great and work perfectly. I don't expect to need another set of shutters for my apartment in my lifetime, but will be happy to refer any of my neighbors to this company.
