Shaun and his team did great work for us from start to finish. Shaun (and Shaun) replaced two bathroom fan/heat lights and installed an EV charger. They arrived on time, worked to their quote (fully costed, offering alternatives if the preferred installation was not possible, and identifying ducting issues with the original installation) and delivered their work very professionally. Shaun wasn't completely happy with the fan on one of the lights and sought a replacement from the supplier rather than just fitting it. They managed the process of upgrading the electrical system for the EV charger, engaged with Energex/the electricity retailer and following through with them on the process and tariff changes, and provided a detailed handover regarding operation of the charger. Shaun also identified a fault with the hot water relay switch and provided guidance on engaging Energex to have the fault corrected. Very happy with all aspects of their work and would highly recommend them.

They came out promptly, had a proper look, and instead of just going ahead with unnecessary work, they were upfront and honest in telling me the problem was actually with my meter box—not the hot water system.They could have easily charged me a lot of money, but they didn’t. The boys from Hopkinson Electrical are great.Had a wall oven throw the switch in the metre box recently and left an odour in the kitchen.I called Shaun from HE as I had seen them in our street and he often penned useful electrical articles on Facebook.He came promptly to investigate the issue and indicated that it was mostly likely an element and also checked the metre box which hadn’t been touched in 15 years.Weighting up his advice we decided to replace the oven and upgrade the fuse panel in the metre box.We made a booking for him to return and carry out the work.He was on time on each occasion and very professional from the first point of contact to the completion of works.
