Visited the liverpool makefest, great event, well supported despite late development, due to cancellation earlier in year, interesting range of technical and traditional crafts. Tapestry building very traditional with old oak beam floors and steep staircases, but has been retrofitted with a lift for easier access.

Wow, fantastic creative space. Loads of craft facilities. I attended an analogue synth meetup and got to play with a Deckard's Dream (CS80 clone) and TTSH (ARP 2600 clone).
