Kyle came to our house on a schedule we all agreed to. He uses a prong collar then an electric collar and a long lead for training. We primarily wanted our dog to be a disciplined walker, but in the end, we have a dog that’s well trained on sit, place, down, and come. Unwanted behaviors can be addressed using the electric collar, but that’s not the main emphasis of the training. As always, consistent cueing and disciplined work from the owners is essential. Kyle dependably showed up on time for every training session, and he has committed to follow up sessions in the future as needed. We recommend Confident Canines so highly!

We have used Kyle with two different dogs. Our experience was nothing short of miraculous. Our most recent experience was with Jackson, a rescue with the desire to please but a few issues as a result of unfortunate circumstances with a previous owner. Kyle was able to show us how to communicate effectively with Jackson, how to keep him focused, and he immediately responded positively. We enjoyed the experience and are so happy to have a well behaved dog who can accompany us much of the time as we go about our daily lives.

We did the in-home training with Confident Canines about a year and a half ago with our husky mix. The training was amazing and he did so good, walking off leash and not barking at anyone or anything. We, as his owners, slacked off on his training so we chose to do a board and train with Fariba to refresh his training. He came home a different dog! He’s so much more calm and happy. I highly recommend this program to anyone who needs some help with their dog.

I cannot express how much my husband and I can recommend this program. Kyle aka the dog whisperer is amazing at what he does. He has taught us so much about training and having a well-behaved dog. Our sweet River was not bad, but we wanted a well-trained dog, especially when we had guest in our home. River has done amazing, and it is all because of the tools we have learned along the way. If you are thinking of this, do it! It is well worth the money to have a confident canine! We are so happy with the results!

My wife and I were to the point we had called our breeder and asked if he would be interested in taking our one year old lab back. She was totally out of control. Thankfully a friend told my wife about Kyle and Confident Canines. After 8 weeks of once a week sessions we have a completely different dog. I contacted confident canines in hopes to train my aggressive 2 year old lab. I was very skeptical because she had not been socialized as a puppy and did not do well around others. Not only was Fabria the nicest individual ever she guaranteed that her trainers could help. I spoke to other dog trainers in the area and did not receive confident answers. Confident Canines are the most affordable in Huntsville and they come to you! My trainer was Aaron and he was the most wonderful. When we first met my dog lunged, tried to nip, and was just her overall grumpy self. Aaron was not fazed, and was able to correct her immediately. Over the course of 2 months my dog’s behavior has changed completely. I can walk her off leash! I never ever thought that would be possible, she responds incredibly well to commands, and I am no longer fearful to have her around others. My biggest concern before I reached out to confident canines was that she was going to bite someone. I kept her secluded and rarely took her out with me. Not only has this process built trust between us, I have full faith in my abilities and hers as well. I don’t know how I lived without dog training! Great experience! The very first day of training we had completely different dogs. They learned to walk behind us, sit when we stop walking, and today was the biggest win- a calm dog at the dog park! Mason was fantastic. He is gentle, easy to talk with, and so consistent. I vetoed having shock collars for training, and he figured out how to work with us without them. A tougher route, but one that works all the same. Thankful for his expertise!

The owner of Confident Canines, Kyle Weaver, was absolutely phenomenal! He was professional, courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and why it's done that way. Everything I wanted to have addressed, he did it in record time. I've never seen anyone work that quickly at getting a dog to respond in a positive manner.I've had a dog in the past but had rescued her at 10 weeks. I was hesitant to rescue a 2 year old mixed breed now, but I've been pleasantly surprised with her temperament. I was even more surprised when she allowed Kyle to train her, as well as myself, on how to walk with her properly. He also helped remove the fear of her bolting out of the apartment again by teaching her to sit and wait with the door open. I feel so much more confident walking and having people come in and out of my apartment without worrying that she'd slip through!I highly recommend working with Confident Canines!

I brought Reggie in for a three week training course and he came back a new puppy! They really helped Reggie to gain confidence and to listen to me while either at home alone or in a busy neighborhood. Kyle was great with Reggie and made sure that I was able to continue his routine when I left. Fariba was able to work with my schedule to get Reggie in quickly and they both kept me up-to-date on his training while he was with them.

Our trainer Aaron was amazing! We were skeptical that our big, 1and a half year old rambunctious, rescue pup could be trained. He barked, jumped, and pulled on his leash. He didn’t behave without treats, and then rarely so. Aaron showed us how to make him a well behaved member of our family (without treats). He can now walk off-leash and doesn’t bark or jump anymore. We can take him anywhere now. Thanks to Aaron, we even introduced him to things he wasn’t comfortable with before, like swimming. Easily 5 stars.

Confident Canines did a fantastic job with our 5 yr old Yellow Lab. We were having major issues with alert barking, personal space and leash walking. Kyle came in on day 1 and explained how/why to train our dog in a certain way and was very knowledgeable with any questions we had. We started with general obedience training to provide a good foundation and then started working on unwanted behaviors. The results of the training were great and we cannot say enough positive things in regards to Confident Canines and Kyle!

Confident Canines has been a wonderful experience! My trainer, Mason, clearly cared for my dog and spent a lot of time educating me on how to help my dog be happier and less anxious. He’s also been extremely helpful and present with some follow up questions I’ve had. They mean it when they say they are with you for life. 8 weeks ago I would have never believed my German Shepherd would be so obedient in a short time for a baby who jumped on you chewed on everything and bit on our hands and toes to being in your face while you tried to eat pulled you around while walking. Kyle is an amazing trainer she walks right by my side now on walks no more pulling my arm out of socket. She plays out front with no leash stays when told and comes on command. No more bitting or chewing up stuff and eating in peace. It is great to be part of the Confident Canines Family. Thank you all and especially Kyle for training us to be the best pet owners possible. We have a very smart but stubborn Australian Shepard mix named Ed. We RV a lot and Ed had become very leash aggressive. We contracted Confident Canine Training and they sent Aaron to work with us. The changes in Ed are amazing. He's much more relaxed because he knows what is expected of him and we are much more relaxed because we now have a means to communicate effectively with him. Aaron went out of his way to work with us in a variety of situations to make sure that all of Ed's "triggers" were addressed. I am very appreciative of Aaron and highly recommend him and CC.

We have a dramatic, stubborn, and somewhat aggressive husky pup. I really thought we would have to rehome him. Kyle came out and from day 1 I have seen changes. Positive changes. He can sit at place for a couple of hours with the family, he can walk on leash without dragging me along, and so many other accomplishments. I would do it again if I ever needed to.
