We couldn't recommend Jamie & his team highly enough. We booked an EICR for our 1960's home purchase in the knowledge we'd need work done and upon a thorough inspection, it was apparent that the house needed a full rewire due to original cabling & more recent but dangerous, unearthed work that had been completed for the previous homeowner. The rewire was done super efficiently- especially downstairs where we wished to keep the floor down/the fairly new kitchen intact so a solution was found to avoid damaging those. Jamie also took the time to discuss with us what our future plans are in terms of renovation so that if we were to extend the house /add EV charging points/solar etc this could be done easily.With a new baby we couldn't be more grateful for making our house feel safe, we can now look forward to making this our family home.

We recently had Hayes Electrical carry out a complete rewire of our house, and from start to finish it was a first-class job. Jamie, the owner, came out to look at the property before we committed to anything and talked us through exactly what a full rewire would involve — what would need lifting, where the disruption would be worst, how long each stage would take and what it would cost. The quote was clear and itemised, with no vague "we'll see when we get there" caveats, and the final bill matched what we'd been told at the outset.Jamie and Harry did the bulk of the work on site and were a pleasure to have around. They arrived when they said they would, worked steadily through each day, and were careful and tidy — dust sheets down, floors put back, everything swept up before they left. Anyone who's lived through a rewire knows how much difference that makes when you're trying to carry on as normal in the middle of it.The workmanship itself is excellent. New consumer unit, everything tested and certified properly, and all the paperwork handed over without us having to chase for it. They also took on a few extras that we'd half-expected to be told were too much hassle: they sorted out our outside lighting, set up multi-way switching so we can control lights from more than one point around the house, and got the fob system working exactly as we wanted. Nothing was treated as an inconvenience — Jamie and Harry just talked through the options with us and got on with it.Special mention to the kitchen speakers. That one was entirely Jamie's suggestion — it hadn't even occurred to us, but he pointed out that while the ceiling was open it was the ideal time to do it. We're so glad we listened. They sound superb, they're neatly installed with no clutter, and they've completely changed how we use the kitchen. It's the sort of recommendation you only get from someone who's thinking about how you'll actually live in the house rather than just ticking off the job in front of them.What stood out most, though, was how easy they were to deal with. They explained things in plain English, answered every question without making us feel like we were wasting their time, and were happy for us to change our minds on a couple of details as the job progressed. Honest, skilled, reliable tradesmen who clearly take pride in their work.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hayes Electrical to anyone considering a rewire or any electrical work, and they'll be our first call in future. Hayes electrics gave us a wonderful service.Jamie is so knowledgeable and came up with great ideas.Workmanship was great as well he and he was very friendly.He put some lights in the kitchen and he put a electric car port in.
